I'm told it's the "best possible case for the symptoms" but hearing I need cataracts surgery in my 30s got me more than a little rattled. Going to be months of getting lost in these feelings and a rolling revaluation of every time I have trouble reading things or miss pouring a glass of water 😅

I've since completed a replay of AC 4 and 5, going to wait and see how that 0 HD port turns out since it might be a fun way to mix up that PS2 era. In the meantime I've got a new PSP battery to break in. While I almost exclusively play AC in cockpit view this tiny screen might finally break that.

PSP 2000 with the box for Ace Combat X right beside it. The game is running on the PSP but the cockpit view and small screen leaves an almost comically small view for gameplay.
