"I'm tired of this crap-hole castle!"

Nurse Gus 🩺🎮 @hocuspogusrn.bsky.social · 07/08/2026

The fact that this is gacha hurts my soul...but if this does well hopefully, we'll get a proper new mainline Suikoden game in the near future. Regardless I know I'll probably give in and spend some cash to bring Tir home day one on global release lol

I can’t wait for 2nd Chapter Remake next year!!! I pray to Aidios they also give Sky the 3rd and Zero/Azure the same fantastic Remake treatment! 🙏

My one complaint is the issue in some cutscenes where only one character is voiced and others present just have text dialogue. I get it, it costs more money to fully voice, but I’d rather it be everyone voiced in a scene or no one voiced in a scene. BG3 definitely spoiled me on full voice acting.

It was everything I could hope for in a remake and more! From remaining true to the original story, being able to explore Liberl fully in 3D, the quality of life features, voice acting, and the mashup action/turn-based combat from Daybreak, the experience was absolute near perfection! 🤌🏼😘

Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter Remake complete and another JRPG platinum trophy added to my collection! If you’ve been wanting to get into the long running Trails series, this is the perfect entry point! Can’t recommend it enough! This is definitely my game of the year for 2025 💯!

This one has been on my backlog for ages! I'll join in and set this as my backlog goal for October as well...once I finish my Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter Remake run, that is. 😅

I may have taken a week off from work for this release 😅

I gave in and spent the weekend playing the Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter Remake Demo! Gungho did a BRILLIANT job! It’s far exceeded my expectations and I’m VERY MUCH looking forward to the full release (even more so than I was already)! Sept 19th can’t get here fast enough! The HYPE is real y’all 🤩

Happy Nurses Week to all my nursing sisters and brothers! Despite having a dumpster fire of a shift, we still remember to bring a turkey sandwich to THAT ONE patient. You know the ONE. Keep being BAMFs, Queens and Kings! 👑❤️🩺💩🥪

Girl same. I love this opening! Suikoden 2's opening is still my fav, but this one is right up there too! I ALWAYS let it play til the end. Same with the Lunar opening. ❤️

Nurse Gus 🩺🎮 @hocuspogusrn.bsky.social · 02/05/2025

I'd only take a FF9 Remake if it were of the same quality as the Project Memoria proof of concept from last year. That was beautifully done and we deserve nothing less!!!

Nurse Gus 🩺🎮 @hocuspogusrn.bsky.social · 02/05/2025

Same, but the same thing happened with the DQ III and I&II HD-2D Remake reveal so chances are pretty good it's legit. We can only hope!🙏

This is so well deserved! 🎨⚔️ Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is something truly special — beautiful, heartfelt, and unforgettable. If you're even thinking about picking it up, do it. You won't regret stepping into this world. Huge congrats to the Sandfall team! 🖤 #Expedition33

I was thinking the same thing during my playthrough! If they ever make a live-action adaptation, Robert Pattinson will have to play Gustave!

Now they just need to bring it to modern consoles. I'm hoping Capcom gives us a Breath of Fire 1-4 Remaster Collection!

The visuals and music are gorgeous! I was not expecting the game to reel me in and sink its hooks into me that fast! I fully expect to get punched in the feels in all the right ways. My only minor gripe so far is the lack of a minimap and no manual saves.

Just finished the Prologue of Expedition 33 and I’ve already shed tears. This game is definitely something special. The art direction, music, story/world building, characters/voice acting, and reaction turn-based combat are 😘👌! Looking forward to diving more into this gem after adulting for the day.

Haha oops, I thought I was replaying to DQ3. Trails is definitely something to play for the narrative lol. I think this Trails in the Sky Remake is gonna be perfect for folks to get into the series. The original is pretty dated. 😅

010

Nurse Gus 🩺🎮 @hocuspogusrn.bsky.social · 19/12/2024

You don't play for the narrative that's for sure and it's super grindy, but retro JRPG enthusiasts are used to that.😅 It's a good game when you need to chill and feel like doing some mindless grinding. It's perfect for handheld mode play. (Switch/PS Portal/Steamdeck). Definitely give it a try!

You're welcome friendo!✌️ Ya it was first announced in a Nintendo Direct sizzle reel a few months back and a lot of folks were concerned it'd be a Nintendo Switch exclusive release. I'm happy to see it coming to other platforms as well!

Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake is a fantastic and charming glow-up to one of the OGs of the genre and a must play for retro JRPG enthusiasts! I completed it after 98 hours (including post-game) and added another JRPG Platinum Trophy for my collection! 🏆 #gamerRNsquad (Review score in comments)

If they make it so you could access your entire PS library via the cloud and have cloud cross-saves for progress that would be huge! I have a feeling this Portal Cloud beta is a taste of good things to come!

Seeing you enjoy yours inspired me to purchase the PS Portal! Thanks, Prof. I have no regrets about picking it up! It's a must-have for JRPG enthusiasts who want that handheld experience and stay in the PS ecosystem. Also, I find it more comfortable to hold over long periods than my Switch.
