Vintage Story taught me that if I can chisel, I can build anything. I love Vintage Story. Check out the Guild of Spirit!

Imagine finding the carcass of someone who got literally disemboweled and you look over and see this thing

Kita post-story post-everything, mostly conceptualizing her scars (which is why she doesn't have her cape and stuff on lol) She actually smiles (slightly) for once and it turns out nicer than I expected #pmd #pokemonoc #bisharp

And it helps that I wound up with a sona of a Pokemon that at least gets some decent attention from Gamefreak/The Pokemon Company because I can see it show up in games I don't even play and go YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA 🫵 THAS ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It just generally helps that there's less of a sense that I need to stay """on model""" when I'm drawing a character whose sole purpose is to be me, so I can just do whatever I want for any given drawing

H.M. Cane @hmcane.pmd.social · 29/10/2025

One thing I learned drawing my sona is that if I'm doing some dumb cartoony pose I can just bullshit it by drawing the front 2 legs like they are *the* legs, and then just add the other 4 instead of worrying about posing all 6

Against every better judgement I am going to be doing this, again. And I brought back a special OC to fit the theme this year artfight.net/~HurricaneMu...

Reorganized my files and found a bunch of random scribbles and drawings. Here's baby Murray

Bandageless Hugos from forever ago that I still like

There's something so odd about having access to a bunch of old imperfect drafts of God

Ye olde accursed front-facing Snivy line

Specific-Pokemon-autism is fun because the semi-retractable claws were something I figured out through in-game animations ages ago before I got to see it in an official ref sheet Weirdly vindicating even though I'm knowingly going completely off-model in about 15 other ways

H.M. Cane @hmcane.pmd.social · 15/02/2025

"How does Maractus's 'foot' thing work?" "Fuckin idk man, whatever works for the visible angle I guess"

This is a good example of things you might not think about while drawing, Whimsicott's fluff/hair having that point of attachment on the back of the head, something good to keep in mind

No funny comment for this I just really like how Leavanny's face looks, very cute

I have various, conflicting feelings about the whole teraleak thing but one thing I will say is awesome in a relatively harmless way is having access to a bunch of Pokeani settei sheets. Genuinely extremely helpful Look at this naked crab

Not technically *new* ship art per se but it's Valentine's which means it's my excuse to make you look at them regardless (other OC property of @alecory.bsky.social) #pmd #pmdoc #pokemonmysterydungeon #pokemonmysterydungeonoc #pokemonoc

Charon, seer and acolyte of Drauman Darkrai. Carefree nihilist. Nightly death visions have long dulled his fear. His eyes remain closed to hone "psychic potential", and to better tune into answers only found in deepest chaos. #pmd #pmdoc #pokemonmysterydungeon #pokemonmysterydungeonoc #pokemonoc
