To be fair, that's on the user - you can configure it to prompt you every time or per individual app. It's essentially equivalent to an SSH agent session.

If 1Password just pops up these little dialogs out of nowhere and doesn't even tell me what's prompted them, it could just as well auto-approve them. I don't think 1Password understands security

A Grafana CPU usage chart. The two Chatto HQ replicas use around 0.04 cores each after a recent upgrade to a new beta.

Just like with AI coding, the real magic is not in wishing things into existence through the machine oracle, but in providing constraints (like this song, but it could also have been a storyboard, more explicit direction, etc.) and having the machine basically fill in the blanks.

I mean, these are mostly experiments in "what can models and agents do in September 2026 with minimal human input". The topic I'd much rather write about is the potentially vast gulf between something like this and something where a human actually provided creative steering for a few hours/days.

I found another dumb song of mine from 2018. This time I asked Opus 5.5 to build a little 3D engine with SDF splats (think "Dreams" from PS4) for the music video. No further instructions or steering (so some of the captions are a bit off.)

Yeah, I was doing some test videos with Sol 6 and Astra 6 and... they were workable. But Opus 5.5 seems to have a much better grasp of what makes videos juicy and fun
