I’ve never grown up with Superman and never understood the excitement. This movie changed that. It showed me a hero that has the typical superhuman strength, yes, but also a person with superhuman compassion, kindness, & a kind of selflessness that inspires us to be the best version of ourselves.

Superman—wearing his classic blue and red suit, centered in the foreground—in front of an (out of focus) normal city in the background as Superman looks to (the camera’s) right.

Lex Luthor, wearing a nice, dark suit (missing the suit jacket), smugly looking past the camera while standing in a room with bright windows and a dark ceiling. In the background are people out of focus.

Ossoff's Office @ossoff.senate.gov · 14/03/2025

Sen. Ossoff tonight announced he will oppose cloture and, if it comes to it, final passage on the partisan House budget proposal and issued the following statement —

“Among the risks to Georgia in the House GOP’s partisan budget proposal: it guts NIH research into diseases like Alzheimer’s and maternal mortality, funding for the prevention of violence against women, and Army Corps of Engineers construction of water infrastructure.

“The House bill also irresponsibly fails to impose any constraints on the reckless and out-of-control Trump Administration. The Administration is gutting the CDC and the VA while destabilizing the economy. Both parties in Congress must fulfill our Constitutional obligation to check the President.

“I will oppose the House budget proposal. The best available solution is a 30-day stopgap funding measure to avoid a shutdown, during which time Congress can do its job to properly pass a bipartisan budget.”

🚨 Everyone needs to call their Dem Senator right now. They are starting to cave. Tell them: 1. Vote NO on Cloture AND 2. Vote NO on the Republican spending bill. Don’t let them pivot to reconciliation. GOP doesn’t need Dem votes on that and they know it. TODAY is the showdown. 🤳🏽: (202) 224-3121

Like they say, all good things must come to an end. With every step towards the future, you risk leaving something behind. But you can at least appreciate the moments you do have, and I know I’ll cherish #Arcane for the story it told.

Jinx/Powder is staring at the camera, a confused expression on her face. She has her hair up and is wearing different clothing than normal.

Jinx is illuminated by the match in her hand, eyes bloodshot, makeup streaked, and is somberly staring at the flame.

Jinx, hooded and covered in streaks of various colored paint (including a noteworthy pink line under her eye), her teeth-like hood drawn and staring at the camera with one eye (her other eye covered by her hair) while her arm is draped over a wheel (out of camera).

Jinx, staring upwards, her face lit up with a soft light, her eyes shining purple and hopeful, her face smudged with dirt and paint, but a a small smile on her lips.

Completely went into a direction I didn’t expect, but if #Arcane Act 1 was a bittersweet tragedy that broke me, then Act 2 was a satisfying reunion that gave me hope—showing that despite all the hate people can have towards each other, there are also others that will change the world out of love.

Isha in a close up shot, holding a finger pistol to her eye and pointing it at the camera.

Caitlyn, cloaked in royal garb, against a candlelit background, looking sideways into the camera.

Jayce, gritted teeth, raggedy clothes, and a brutal expression on his face, glaring into the camera.

Ambessa, holding a weapon in hand and clad in armor, yelling out a charge.

I binged the new season of #Arcane S2 and it may or may not be living in my head rent free.

Just finished Loki Season 2 and, after not watching a lot of Marvel content for some time, this show wowed me. Cinematography never fails to disappoint, music was perfectly hype, and the story wrapped up in a bittersweet but conclusive ending.

An image of the characters (from left to right) O.B., B-15, Loki (who is holding a TVA Guidebook), and Morbius (who is holding the Temporal Aura Extractor) all staring at the camera.

An image of O.B. sitting at a desk surrounded by clutter, slightly facing to the right.

An image of (from left to right) Sylvie and Loki, facing each other with a serious expression on their faces.

An image of Loki, wearing his signature crown, surrounded by green threads, and staring at the camera.
