This one was SO good I have no words. Ryland and Rocky’s friendship is so wholesome. And first time finding “esoteric” on my word hunt!

I've been at another star for the past several weeks. But that's kind of esoteric. Tau Ceti is pretty much like the sun. It's bright, you can't get too close to it, and it even emits the same general range of frequencies. For some reason, being at a new planet is much more exciting.

I can't speak, so I shake my head. I feel the skin of my face stretch away from my cheeks. I must look like a monster right now. The periphery of my vision fades to black. This must be the tunnel vision I've heard about. It's a good name.
