15 years ago today Dark Souls redefined storytelling, particularly environmental, on game. It wasn’t Fromsoft’s first foray, but it was their most recognizable one that began the snowball effect of titles to follow. Happy Birthday Dark Souls. Don’t you dare go hollow. #darksouls #fromsoft #games

Buying back some of my late teens and early 20s is a bit expensive. But THIS version of 40k made me very happy. When the universe was just fluff and you could pretty much do what you wanted. Luckily I have the old rules still and even my RT era books still.

I honestly feel like Warhammer is untenable as a setting and a game. The sheer vitriolI see from random chuds is stifling. Thinking about selling off my shit for the second time because I don’t want to be associated with it anymore. I look at whole armies I’ve painted and I’m not happy. 🤷‍♂️

So there’s a scene in the new Odyssey flick where John Leguizamo’s character is talking to Telemachus and tosses a FUCKING PUPPY off a cliff in a nonchalant manner. Maybe I’m going soft in my age, but fuck. I can’t handle shit like that these days.

And on this day in the year 323 BCE in Babylon, at the heart of the old Persian Empire, Alexander the Great passed from this world. His tragedy was one of increasing loneliness and impatience with those who could not understand him. His failures towered over other men's successes. #history
