Wrote a custom Expo OTA server for @habitpixel.com which should allow me to publish OTA updates faster + also allow users to check for updates (OTA or store) manually. Expecting OTA costs to drop drastically since last time it costs me $45 for one OTA push on Expo infra 😅

It's a mobile app landing page, it's doesn't move the need so much, the store landing pages are where it's at 😉

Unleashed Opus 5.5 Extra High on @habitpixel.com code base 2 days ago to find and fix bugs/performance issues It's still going and it's found a crazy amount of wins that no other model could do - simply insane! In the process, I have had PRs to multiple projects to fix issues upstream...crazy 🤯

Happy October! 🍂 Another steady month for @habitpixel.com! September growth was a little slower, but the numbers kept moving in the right direction. Still building, improving, and learning as a solo dev! 🔼 Subs: +6.3% (2,727 → 2,900) 🔼 MRR: +4.0% ($3,105 → $3,229) Small gains add up. Onwards 📈

Landed one of the most requested features for Habit Pixel Android: transparent widgets. Users can now adjust between fully transparent to fully opaque in step of 5% 👾

Hirvesh @hirve.sh · 26/09/2026

Asked Claude to create a promo video for Habit Pixel. It one-shotted this, did it cook? 👀

Hirvesh @hirve.sh · 24/09/2026

Those were my first two projects which got my first paying users, but it just didn't gain the traction needed. However, it did set me up for success from the learnings for Habit Pixel. Now it's time to fully focus on the app business ✊

000

Hirvesh @hirve.sh · 24/09/2026

I have been giving it some thought and I think it's time for me to call it a day on @StomodHQ and @AssistflareHQ I will be shutting both projects down in the next few months and disabling sign-ups. It hasn't been a success and server costs need to be cut.

So yesterday, I left on 5% of my Codex usage left in anticipation of the reset promised by @thsottiaux - now I can't even burn it off wth Sol-6 and I've been at it all morning on High 😅

Hirvesh @hirve.sh · 16/09/2026

Love this review I got today! 🤩 User satisfaction with Habit Pixel seems at an all time high, just need some luck to break into the top 10 of habit trackers and that would make my year 🥺

Argent from @swmansion testing my notification system autonomously on a real iPhone 😎 I don't have to test a gazillion scenarios by hand, it taken care of automatically 👾

Hirvesh @hirve.sh · 11/09/2026

Following up on the new scheduling options in Habit Pixel from yesterday, I've implemented the "Add Reminders" sheet hoping it's more user friendly 👾 😅 What do you guys think?

021

Hirvesh @hirve.sh · 10/09/2026

We now have: - Daily, every x days - Weekly, selected week days, every n weeks, week A/B cycles - Monthly, dates of month, day of week every n month, end of month - Rotating cycles - Yearly/Seasonal and more!

Hirvesh @hirve.sh · 10/09/2026

Already Thursday! 😅 I'm nearly done with the most advanced habit scheduling mechanism and notification engine to back it up. This encapsulates all the different users requests I have been getting about more flexible scheduling and should cater for all cadences 😎👾

Hirvesh @hirve.sh · 07/09/2026

Good morning guys! Happy Monday! 👾 This week for Habit Pixel, I am focusing on building the most advanced scheduling engine for habit tracking. This will unlock a lot of user requested schedules which were not previously possible. Focusing on getting the UX right 😎

030

Hirvesh @hirve.sh · 05/09/2026

Yup, it doesn't come over to hamper check-in and also tries to actively avoid being hidden or being a hindrance 😅 I need to make it way more interactive, but that's coming soon, backing it with an actual AI model 😀

Happy September! 🌴 Habit Pixel kept the momentum going through August. Still no dramatic spikes—just steady growth, consistent improvements, and more people building better habits every day. 🔼 Subs: +9.1% (2,499 → 2,727) 🔼 MRR: +8.6% ($2,859 → $3,105) Slow, steady, compounding. Onwards. 📈

Had some fun making PIP inside Habit Pixel a little bit more interactive - it now skates over the bottom calendar strip and jetpacks over the list of habits when you scroll 😅👾

110

Hirvesh @hirve.sh · 26/08/2026

Building a tamagotchi inside Habit Pixel called Pip 👾 It will live throughout the app and will provide cue and helpful hints + will work together with rewards/badges/encouragement and eventually as a coaching partner for building habits 😎

000

Hirvesh @hirve.sh · 22/08/2026

Exactly! It allows for realistic tracking and also a more manageable list. Eventually I plan to introduce a "momentum" mode which is even more forgiving than streaks mode 👀

000

Hirvesh @hirve.sh · 22/08/2026

Habit Pixel now supports marking habits as skipped or missed on certain days - this has been a much requested feature 😅 This helps users clear the habit off their list without having to wait for the day to end.

120

Hirvesh @hirve.sh · 19/08/2026

Finally reached $3000 MRR with Habit Pixel 😮‍💨 Wasn't easy but on target to reach $5000 MRR by EOY 👾

Hirvesh @hirve.sh · 18/08/2026

New @habitpixel.com lock screen wallpaper looking good 😎 Coming soon 🔜

000

Hirvesh @hirve.sh · 11/08/2026

Worked on improving the layout transition for Habit Pixel, it was previously too janky and wasn't exuding quality - I like this new one much better - there's scope for more improvement - but do let me know what you guys think 😎👾

000

Hirvesh @hirve.sh · 03/08/2026

Happy August! 🌴 @habitpixel.com kept moving steadily through July. Another solid month as a solo dev 🚀 🔼 Subs: +11.0% (2,252 → 2,499) 🔼 MRR: +9.9% ($2,602 → $2,859) Just one subscriber away from 2,500, and now only $141 away from $3,000 MRR 🎯 Onward.

I'll measure whether these reminders actually help people return and continue their habits. If they don’t provide real value, I'll improve them—not simply send more. The goal is a calmer, more supportive Habit Pixel: A small nudge when it could genuinely help—and silence when it wouldn’t.

000

Hirvesh @hirve.sh · 30/07/2026

Your privacy remains central. Habit names, journal entries, individual check-ins, and personal notes aren’t sent to power this flow. Habit Pixel only uses a small summary of recent activity.

110

Hirvesh @hirve.sh · 30/07/2026

I’ve built in strict limits to prevent notification overload. Before sending anything, Habit Pixel checks whether you’ve already returned, whether a reminder is still relevant, and whether you’ve received enough messages.

100

Hirvesh @hirve.sh · 30/07/2026

It also works when you check in from a widget. Habit Pixel will recognize that you’ve been active and avoid sending an unnecessary reminder later. Notifications follow your timezone and language, so they arrive at a sensible local time—even when you travel.

100

Hirvesh @hirve.sh · 30/07/2026

The messages change depending on where you are in your journey. Someone taking their first steps shouldn’t receive the same message as someone returning after two consistent weeks.

100

Hirvesh @hirve.sh · 30/07/2026

If you’re already active, the app leaves you alone. If you’ve recently fallen out of rhythm, Habit Pixel may send a gentle reminder at the moment it’s most likely to help.

100

Hirvesh @hirve.sh · 30/07/2026

Habit Pixel will look at your overall activity—not just one habit—to understand whether you’re getting started, building momentum, or drifting away.

100

Hirvesh @hirve.sh · 30/07/2026

Building a habit is exciting at first. The difficult part comes a few days later, when life gets busy and the habit begins to slip.

100

Hirvesh @hirve.sh · 30/07/2026

Had Sol analyze users behavior on @posthog and determine what needs to be improved. The biggest issue with @habitpixel.com is retention post 3 days. Spent the last few day designing a retention flow and pretty happy with it 😎 👾

Hirvesh @hirve.sh · 24/07/2026

One of my favorite new features of @habitpixel.com in v25.0.0 - Sub Steps! ✨ It allows you to name your check-ins and check them off - useful for grouping related items like supplements/skin care routines etc 👇

000

Hirvesh @hirve.sh · 21/07/2026

Love this new date picker for journaling within @habitpixel.com - looks very dope 😎 👾

@Habit_Pixel Left lock screen wallpaper looking very dope on Android too 😎👾

The Left wallpaper for @habitpixel.com looking incredibly dope alongside the widgets on the iOS lock screen 👾 😎

000

A video update after a long time! 😎 Talking about the Left feature in @habitpixel.com and the upcoming wallpaper extension of it 👾

000

Hirvesh @hirve.sh · 13/07/2026

Good morning! Happy Monday! Someone REALLY likes @habitpixel.com 👾😎

000

Hirvesh @hirve.sh · 06/07/2026

Good morning! 😎 Made my day for @habitpixel.com 👾

000

Hirvesh @hirve.sh · 04/07/2026

Widgets for the new upcoming "Left" feature built inside @habitpixel.com 😎 Looks pretty good, some polishing left to do + Android widgets then off we go with v24.0.0 👾 What do you think?

000

Hirvesh @hirve.sh · 02/07/2026

Building a major new @habitpixel.com feature: “Left.” It uses the familiar pixel view to map your year/month/week/day/hour—showing how much time is left 👾 It’ll also power milestones + achievements over time. Still WIP 🚧😎
