So. Today started fine, then got shit (lost my credit card), fine again (#Legendia was nice, especially Lech coaster), but then the locker was broken and I couldn't get my suitcase. Waited 3 1/2hours for someone to open the locker. Then finally was able to get a flixbus to the next City to my hotel.

(reposting with alt text) Important information for artists & commissioners who use paypal

drowzistatic: IMPORTANT PAYPAL PSA FOR ARTISTS & CLIENTS Hey, please read this because a LOT of people don't know until it's already too late. PayPal actively scans payment notes, and accounts are getting flagged, limited, or permanently banned over certain keywords. When that happens, they can freeze your money for 180+ days. For clients / commissioners: DO NOT put these in the payment note: "Commission" "NSFW" PAYPAL IS STRICTLY AGAINTS ANY SORT NSFW CONTENT AS IT VIOLATES THEIR TOS.
"Tip" or "Donation" (if you're paying for a service) AS MUCH AS US ARTIST APPRECIATES OUR CLIENTS SUPPORT, PLEASE NEVER SPECIFY A TIP.
PayPal uses bots / Al that look for these words (especially anything tied to adult content) to enforce their AUP. (Acceptable use policy)
For artists: • ALWAYS use vague, SFW descriptions "Digital Illustration" "Artwork Services" "Creative Services"

If you're an artist who does big numbers on twitt and didn't feel happy with the numbers you got on bsky so you went back to twitt, consider: 1. It's a nazi website 2. The numbers are lower but from my experience the engagement is way more authentic

An alle fünf Parteiobleute.

Was? Oh nein! Ist Klima vs. Wirtschaft etwa doch kein Trade-off?

It's not enough to be against AI, you need to be pro art. You need to be a champion of the art you love, you need to share that passion and joy, and do what you can to support the artists who make it, because it's not enough to hate AI, to hate what it's doing to art and media; you gotta love.

I love all the preggy Charles pictures, but you know what would be hella funny If Charles and Erik did a full ass photoshoot together & the pictures are everywhere, on their social media, in their house... people congratulating them ... turns out Charles just grew a beer belly #cherik

I wonder how I would've turned out if I watched First Class when it actually came out... (2010 was my heavy Tenimyu phase, followed by...Ragnarok Online I think?) The irony, I went to Frankfurt Bookfair with a Friend who took a picture with Mystique at an Xmen booth 🫠 so close

Current course requires a presentation on a film analysis. Don't want to torture myself unnecessarily, let's just use X-Men First Class. Realize I have the German dub on my PC. Take a little peak. Instant cringe. Oh god, nope, hell nah, ouff... back to the original babies

Okay wow, twitter turned into a shithole a while ago already, but it's getting worse and worse. Grok automatically translates everything, and completely incorrectly. The app automatically turns to the algorithm page, feeding you whatever will rile you up. Ugh. 🦋, please get more active 😭
