Anyway i think its cus browsing through social media gives your brain a lot of info that it didnt ask for. In contrary to simply consuming things you purposely feed it. Like reading books. So it probably wears down attention faster than those

I looked it up. Its called information overload. Our media here uses that term a lot in all kinds of contexts including social media exposure. We also call being away from social media and all forms of digital socials for a while “digital detox” lol

I get the same sometimes. I think there was a coined term for this (i prolly dont know the English word for it tho) but something about browsing contents and infos and take them into your brain could wear down your attention span fast

Recently diagnosed with a newly discovered genetic disease and given only months to live, Reyn Blackwood is fortunate enough to secure a spot at Esterhollow Sanatorium, where she's to be a clinical trial participant for a promising treatment.
However, there's a catch for those like Reyn who can't afford the drug: they must mine for its main ingredient, in a location only safely entered by those with the genetic code needed to manifest the illness.
On top of that, she finds that the drug has unforeseen, mind-altering side effects ... thus making it difficult to comprehend the peculiar, frightening stranger whom no one else seems to perceive, as well as decide whether or not he should be trusted over the sanatorium.
