free rein to play anything that came on an OXM demo disc led to me playing Silent Hill 4 as an 8 year old

Was dog-sitting for a friend this weekend and unintentionally watched the equivalent of 26 episodes of Colin Baker Doctor Who on their iPlayer

is there a Metacritic that doesn't include made-up outlets that give everything a 10?

Catching up with I Hate Doctor Who and I really need to get back to watching the actual show. Been sat on Season 22 for about 7 months. I think it's the 45 minute episode length, I just don't want to watch Colin Baker for that long.

How many times has a legacy sequel been arguably better than its original? Just thinking about Who, Star Wars, and Star Trek, etc, and wondering if Twin Peaks is one of very few

Gearing up for Control: Resonant by replaying a couple of Remedy games (including a coincidental timing of my friend's first playthrough of Alan Wake being streamed on our discord)

So this makes Injustice 3 being Netherrealm's next game a little less likely?

Very curious to see if Village ends up still being last when I've played the rest of these, I didn't realise I rated it that little

Big into Resident Evil again this last week and I am itching for a collection of the light gun shooters. Never played them, and can't justify buying all the gear I'd need to play them legit. Capcom, just give me a PC collection with mouse pointing, please!

tried to think of all the games that I absolutely rinsed as a kid, and then Yakuza gets in because a Yakuza has to get in

Finished Resi 9! Very good! Relieved it didn't turn into the fan-service nightmare I worried it would.

Nioh 3 - pretty fun! A friend picked this up for me as an Xmas gift, as he rightly called it out as the kind of game I like but one I wouldn't buy at launch. From all the summons outside the boss rooms, I feel like I was in the minority as a spear user.

I've just clocked that Kiwami 3 is the Yakuza 20th anniversary project 10th anniversary was Yakuza 0 Honestly, don't see it going to 30 with anywhere near the same audience now

wrapped up the Davison stories, and Caves of Androzani was a bit of a miss for me, wasn't taken by it best classic story ever? it's not even Davison's best! not even my favourite from the season! (I will change my tune after Twin Dilemma)

Absolutely rinsed some Doctor Who these last few days. Finished up Season 17 and stared Season 18 during the weeks leading up to Xmas. Started Meglos on Sunday ... I've now just finished Time-Flight - a full 50 episodes in 4 days.

@wretchedmorgan.bsky.social I'm thinking about picking up 9th and 10th Doctor blurays for when I've made it through the rest of the classic Who ahead of me is there much to be aware of with new-Who boxsets? any to particularly look for, or any to avoid?

I really like the conclusion of that new Who finale, gutted he's gone anyway, now onto the start of another, older season beware the black guardian
