I think most people forget that this was originally a kids' card game, lmao. If only the Pokemon company would start making the same efforts...

@rebell.bsky.social Love your Commander Template site, but just spent an hour brewing a deck and accidentally closed it, losing it all. The smarter person would just click that big yellow "Save" button more frequently, but it would be nice if it just auto-saved every 5 minutes or something 💀

Himea @himea.enchiridion.gg · 04/05/2026

Sounds like your issue is with a jerk, not people who follow a meta 😜. There's definitely significant overlap I've observed between online competitive spaces and people with the emotional maturity of an 8-year-old.

Himea @himea.enchiridion.gg · 04/05/2026

At the end of the day, you can play the game however you want, but you have to respect the same line of thinking that they have the same prerogative. Especially in grindy online games, going non-meta builds can often mean wasting other people's time, so that might be where the conflict is?

I think they work well because you could imagine a million things about who they are and they take little effort to write

000

Himea @himea.enchiridion.gg · 19/04/2026

Most popular male characters don't have a personality at all. Men aren't liked for who they are, it's for what they do. John Wick is loved by millions despite having like ten lines throughout the whole film... You could argue that being a terminator is a personality type, I suppose.

My workplace uses Gmail and it has a built in grammar tool now that is actually pretty good for corrections. I never used the AI summary stuff because it often cuts out important details 😭

Trucks and SUVs still have a much higher rate of rolling than other cars, even today. Unless you're regularly towing large loads, a station wagon or minivan is going to get the job done for most people. Drivers get the larger vehicles because they feel safer, but statistically, they are worse off...

I believe a conflicting design challenge with vehicles like these and modern safety standards is that sharp angles and wide bodies make vehicles more dangerous in a collision and easier to lose control. Designs have moved towards small and round because they are safer (and more efficient).

It was stupid, but in a charming way. I give a 2/10 for writing, but a 7/10 for good fun. My favorite part was Bowser doing a sock-puppet story with Bowser Jr, I got a few good laughs from that 😆

While I understand the criticism of the electrically controlled climate control in the Model 3 and Y, the point was to save on production costs by reducing the number of small parts. I'd say Tesla succeeded given they cut the cost by 50% from the Model S.

It's a jumper that terminates the bus port in place of the expansion pack. It doesn't functionally do anything except allow the console to complete a logical circuit. Technically a couple copper wires could accomplish the same thing.

Sakurai has stated multiple times in the past that a character needs to originate from a video game to be considered. Also he is retired from Smash Bros. so we're probably not going to get another 😔

000

Himea @himea.enchiridion.gg · 27/11/2025

I know this site doesn't like Tesla, but it seems kinda disingenuous to say that the Benz is cheap when it's $11k higher starter price than the Model 3. The charging speed is kinda irrelevant; most people can't afford a $50k car right now.

Himea @himea.enchiridion.gg · 26/11/2025

Well, in the boss' defense, a cloud solution is probably a lower initial cost, and one on-site backup is none backups. But probably still better than actually no backups at all 🫥

digital painting of an Asian woman with dark curly hair and enormous faux black wings who's holding a sword and sitting against a red backdrop in a white gown with flowers

digital painting of four women with dark hair in various styled white dresses, looking off into the distance. it's dark at night and they're in front of a large building.

digital painting of a woman with very bright red hair in waves around her face, wearing a voluminous fur coat and leaning forward with her hand to her face. pearls drip around her neck and hands. she's seated on a fancy stool and there's a column behind her and also movement to suggest other people.
