Sorry for the delay. On June 15 we inaugurated the first place dedicated to Hilma af Klint. The center is called Hilma af Klint’s Ateljé and it’s located on the island Adelsö, about 1hr from Stockholm.

When the Guggenheim introduced Hilma af Klint to New York in a blazing 2018-19 retrospective, it scooped sublime canvases out of obscurity and laid them out like freshly polished gems. They were big, abstract and geometrical, yet they also celebrated recognisable organic forms.

Yesterday, May 8, was the White Lotus Day, a celebration of Theosophists. It marks the anniversary of the death of Helena Petrovna Blavatsky, founder of the Theosophical Society. Let’s realise HP Blavatsky actually wasn’t Russian: she was *Ukrainian*, as she was born in present Dnipro in 1831. 🙏
