Spent almost two hours in my local park with a friend, a colander, a piece of paper with holes in it and loads of other people sharing their glasses and showing off their homemade pinhole cameras and it was like a party- can’t wait for the next one!

Seriously, though, why are people so scared of having their money taxed after they die? So many people live long enough that their kids are already old enough to have made their own lives, and where the children are dependants still there is usually some planning for them

VAT off energy bills is simple and easy to get to people - and I’m sure there will be more targeted help if prices go up a lot in autumn. But it does mean wealthy people are getting money they don’t need, and more than £45 if they use a lot
