Isn't it so cool how bluesky moved the nice convenient save image button into a sub menu all the way in the top left as far away from your thumb as possible

Can anyone recommend a good alternative bsky client for Android? I'm using witch sky as a web app bc of the new texas age verification but I'd like a proper client

I’ve pretty much already transitioned physically (get maam’d/miss’d in public more often than not despite wearing boy clothes) but haven’t transitioned socially. I kinda want to but also I live in Texas and I’m a bit scared of what could happen in the current political climate :/

Just now realizing that me losing interest in competitive games happened after starting HRT, and wondering if those things are related at all…

just got some progesterone. excited but WHYYY is diy prog so expensive... it's gonna be the majority of my HRT cost. i went with a spray which is a little more affordable, but still a lot more than my E injections.

I am really disappointed about Shayy. I wasn’t a huge fan but I know how important they were in the community and I always thought they seemed like a good person.

Got fired for not being outgoing enough today. It was my first job and I only had 4 days of work (weekends over 2 weeks). Back to job search hell 🫠

i get why this is common consensus but ppl being like "the steam controller is kinda ugly but the functionality is great!" makes me shake my head. i think it looks beautiful. shes so unique and tall. the thumbsticks look shiny gorgeous. the slight rotation on the trackpads is so playful.

It is insane how getting a job has just fixed my mental health overnight. I’m laughing out loud at stuff again, I have more energy and motivation, the stuff I enjoy is more fun... it’s so important for your brain to have something productive to do

The Steam Frame has blown my expectations out of the water. It’s just a straight upgrade over the quest 3 by a company that actually cares about its customers. They put so much stuff in here. Eye tracking, finger tracking, a full controller layout, and standalone capabilities

This is next level headline misrepresentation. It’s a clear attempt to generate outrage from people who don’t read past headlines

Democrat labels his family member wrong and it’s a scandal, but republicans can blow up fishermen and kidnap legal citizens and nobody cares

Hikiru @hikiru.northsky.social · 27/10/2025

Watergate is a relic of the past. Nothing matters anymore. If it’s really bad, the outrage may last a week, but the outrage never leads to meaningful action. It’s so frustrating.

the steam reviews for every badly optimized AAA game that comes out now are like this "the optimization is really bad and i can't get good performance with my high end pc" "i get 120 fps on my 4080 with upscaling and frame gen, so the optimization is fine actually and you're the problem"

A built in “interests” feed would be great. You could add a bunch of things you’re interested in and you’d get posts in that feed with keywords associated with interests you’ve selected. Discover feed is hard to curate since you can only alter it using posts you already get in the feed.

The only notification setting I care about is not notifying me for every single like I get. I don’t want to mute a thread and miss replies but the constant notifications when someone likes my post are annoying. Either let me turn like notifications off or notify every x amount of likes

Hikiru @hikiru.northsky.social · 15/02/2025

I feel like “show more like this” should be an option all across BlueSky to tweak your discover page manually. It’s annoying that the only way to change my discover page is through posts ON my discover page!
