So, I pushed myself to get to Kirkby Stephen to get there in time for the bus (the next back to Penrith was due 5 hours later!!). But now everything hurts. Not surprised, as it was almost 18 miles of hills and grass! So replanning rest of the week, and taking it easy tomorrow.

Second @slowwaysuk.bsky.social of the day wasn't the hardest, but body was already pounded by the first! GreKir (Great Asby > Kirkby Stephen) was a standard rural walk: lots of ups and downs; lots of sheep and cattle. A bit of road walking, but mostly fields and paths.
