This year we’ve picked the theme ‘Weaving Words, Harnessing History’ for the poetry festival. While we’re excited to hear anything you’d like to submit, here’s a bit about the theme in case you’re curious! Stay tuned for more info #poetry #poetryfestival #yorkshire #bayeuxtapestry #stamfordbridge

‘Weaving Words, Harnessing History’:
This year we’ve chosen the theme ‘Weaving Words, Harnessing History’, taking inspiration from the arrival of the Bayeux Tapestry in the UK this year, and its association with Stamford Bridge in East Yorkshire. We’d love to hear your reflections on this theme, but we welcome you to write about anything that inspires you. The more poetry the better!
