Definitely agree with that. I don't need it to be so simple that the drivers only have a wheel and 3 pedals, but I do want the drivers to do the things with the car, not the car doing the things.

My PIAS is kind of the opposite: A LOT of new Discraft, some new Innova, and a lot of used MVP (from Gyropalooza boxes). And I never buy anything because that's just not how I shop for discs.

I feel like a lot more of the fans realize some of the likely realities of these possible international races: Teams losing money because their sponsors don't care, at marginal tracks, in front of iffy crowds. I know I don't have a lot of desire to have an international race just to have one.

Sexton is definitely needed, but Doss takes up so much of the airtime that I feel that Sexton ends up muzzled. All that said, the booths last year and this year are SO MUCH BETTER than a few years ago, with Ian and Philo all the time.

I generally don't mind Nate Perkins, and there have been times when Nate Doss has been fine. But Doss definitely needs someone to keep him on task, and Perkins too easily devolves into "Story time about his good friends" which ends up sounding like naked partisan-ism.

And it helps when the course gives you those challenges. I was playing a course for the second time that I was doing just fine on, one of my best scoring rounds, and was like "This is really dull, because every hole is just down an open fairway..."

Totally with you on this! And you can have an absolutely awful score and be like "I'm mostly happy with that, because the bad scores came from kicks and rollaways on shots that felt good."

If the spots were reversed, Tymek on the inside and Myles going around the outside, should they give Tymek a penalty? I certainly say yes, if they're going to give the penalty they did. That possible inconsistency is what everyone's been complaining about for years.

It wasn't a stupid move, and I hate the idea that "Oh, we're going to penalize a clear racing incident because it involved a championship driver." If Tymek's so worried about it, he had plenty of room to go wider in that turn.

I'll always remember Rossi recounting the story of talking to Felix about seeing Palou's data now, and usually in those comparisons, your time and the other guy's kinda ebb and flow through the lap. But with Palou, he was faster than Felix, all the way around. Just unreal.

If it's been a known issue, then it's either negligence or "working as intended". If it was a surprise then I'd have a bit more grace on it, but if they knew it was an issue from past events, then that goes out the window.

Ooof, yeah, that's rough. Being a vendor at some locations does have a lot of strings attached, and could be rough for people who aren't in-state. You would have thought that the organizers could have dealt with it, but they probably just let it fall through the cracks or didn't think it a problem.

I'm kinda surprised that a guy like Gannon, who by all accounts is obsessive about discs, has gotten to a point where he can't trust, nor replace, the discs he has. But then he was also looking for "old Discmania" when he started with them, so I don't know if that's what he's stuck on.

I really think the Fox director hates pit stops. They almost completely skipped them last week. And they frequently just don't bother talking about them. If they don't have Kevin, Georgia, or Jack in the pit for the car, they don't care.

He's certainly helped their turnaround, and they've turned his headspace around as well. Will looks so much happier and freer than I have ever seen him. I was not a big fan of his (not a fan of Team Penske), but he is currently so enjoyable to see.
