Until next time, Albuquerque 🫡 😭

An image of the Sandia Mountains in Albuquerque, New Mexico, taken from a 3-lane road. It's just before sunrise, and there's a gorgeous peach glow surrounding the mountains underneath gray clouds.

An image of the 3-lane road heading into Albuquerque Sunport, next to the large entrance sign that says, "Welcome to the Sunport". The sun is just beginning to rise, and there's a beautiful yellow/orange glow coming from the back left of the image where it's rising, turning many of the surrounding clouds orange.

Hi :3

An image of a sable-colored corgi named Thor, with his nose and face extremely close to the camera. Why is he so nose?

OMG HELLO THERE

A 3-star Pikachu ex card from Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket. The artwork features a Pikachu climbing a tree stump in the middle of a lush, green forest. A trio of Butterfree are fluttering beneath the branches in the background. Bright daylight is shining through the leaves and highlighting Pikachu slightly.

Pikachu has 120HP, a +20 weakness against Fighting Pokémon, and costs 1 energy to retreat. Its attack is Circle Circuit: "This attack does 30 damage for each of your benched Electric Pokémon." It costs 2 Electric energy.

An image of a white card with the Bluesky butterfly in the top left, my screenname and username in the bottom left, and "Joined Jun 18, 2023" in the bottom right. In the center, a large "#134,585", showing that I was the 134,585th user, is displayed in blue and black text. A blue stamp labeled "Bluesky Elder Certified, First 10%" is on top of the number.

Found a piece of gaming history in my basement: the official Myst strategy guide :D this came in the original boxed version of the game. It was one of the first puzzle games I ever tried, and this book is especially cool bc of the way it's written.

The front cover of "Myst, The Official Strategy Guide" by Rick Barba and Rusel DeMaria. It's a blue paperback book with a large landscape view of the Myst Island, all the unique areas of the island visible.

The back side of "Myst: The Official Strategy Guide." It contains paragraphs describing the book and its authors, stating "this is the only officially authorized complete strategy guide for Myst!"

Coyoteposting

The pictured coyote caught their own tail. Mission accomplished! Unfortunately, the capture has caused the yote to wrap around a thin tree, trapping them.

A paragraph from The School of Life touches on this subject, I think it's really insightful

"It is a grim paradox that the worst deeds that humans have ever been guilty of have been carried out by people with an easy conscience, people who felt they were definitely on the side of angels, people who were entirely sure they had justice in hand. What unites the people who report their neighbors to the secret police, the crowds who burn their victims at stakes while dancing around their agonized bodies, the govt. officials who set up purification camps and the nations that wipe out their enemies with special barbarism is their consistent and overwhelming sense that they are doing the right thing - in the eyes of god, history, or Truth. When trying to understand why people do evil things, never start from the position of imagining that they understood them as evil; remember that they would have carried out their nastiness cocksure that they were paragons. An impassioned feeling of being an instrument of justice has been at the heart of humanity's most appallingly unkind moments."

Love this time of year :3 📷: Myself

An image of a winter road during the day. Snow has fallen and covered the ground and trees next to the road. The road looks like it goes forward and up towards some snow-covered mountains.

An image of snow- covered mountains, taken from a cul-de-sac neighborhood. The light from the sunset is reflecting off the mountain snow, giving the mountains a beautiful orange & yellow glow.

Something about this picture I took last week feels like it's a screenshot from a G-Mod map, and I can't tell if it's the general fogginess or the red explosive barrel

A straight, paved road on a foggy morning. The fog is obscuring the blue sky completely, giving the image oddly creepy G-Mod/Source engine vibes. The pale yellow house on the left and the red barrel on the right certainly add to that feeling as well.
