earworm fun melodies and compositions for sure. they're all good pop songs but none of it is new for her imo, which is why i think i feel so like eh about them lol not saying she has to do something new every time ofc but its not as exciting for me (2)

yea this is how i feel too abt showgirl as a whole as well, lyrics are usually rly important to my enjoyment of a song and a lot of the lyrics i just can't get behind😭 production i think is lacking a little on some of these new songs but the album was super polished and in both there's lots of (1)

i think where i'm at is like. taylor swift the artist i love. taylor swift the businesswoman i dislike. taylor swift the person i have mixed feelings on and that is okay because she is a multifaceted human being as we all are. but the rose colored glasses came off a while ago unfortunately

admittedly i've become somewhat disillusioned with swiftiedom since showgirl's release but i don't want people here to hate me or to come off like i'm hating on her so thats part of why i disappeared idk i still love the majority of her music but like half of showgirl & now this was a miss for me💔
