Games Workshop finally made the “Drive me closer, I want to hit them with my sword” meme into an official miniature and I am so here for it.
A Warhammer 40K miniature consisting of a black half-track armored vehicle with a fighting platform on the rear, mounted by a commissar pointing her power sword into the air to signal an advance. She is accompanied by a small retinue manning weapons and holding aloft a large flag

This statue of Hannibal Barca at the Tuileries gardens goes fucking hard
A statue of Carthaginian general Hannibal Barca, portrayed victoriously holding a Roman legionary Aquila upside down and standing on the broken remains of another. A legion losing its Aquila was a serious loss of honor.A closeup of the same statue, showing the detail of the seized and broken Aquilas. One is intact but upside down, with the surmounted eagle on the ground. The eagle from the broken one is under Hannibal’s foot. Other battlefield detritus forms the base of the statue, including a shield and a sword.

Glaciers are big. Like really big.
A tidewater glacier in Blackstone Bay, Prince William Sound, Alaska. Photo taken from about 1/4 mile away. A small fishing boat is in the foreground closer to the glacier and is minuscule compared to the size of the front wall of ice. The glacier appears blue and white in color with streaks of black and brown from the sediment it has scoured out of the mountains. A arched ice cave is visible at the waterline. Small rivulets of melt water are cascading down the rocks next to the glacier.

Ah, the digital equivalent of hitting the snooze button! © If you're looking to bid adieu to Microsoft Copilot, I've got you covered. Let's make it as smooth as a well-buttered keyboard shortcut, shall we?
Method 1: Removing Copilot from Your Taskbar (Partial Disable)
1. First, let's head to the scenic Settings app. You can reach it by clicking on the Windows Start button (that friendly little flag) and typing "Settings."
2. Once you're in the Settings app, navigate to the "Personalization" section. It's like giving your desktop a fresh coat of digital paint.
3. Now, scroll down like a seasoned explorer until you find "Taskbar." Click on it-you're about to unveil some secrets!
4. Look for the Copilot toggle switch. It's like the light switch of Al companionship. Toggle it off, and Copilot will politely step back from your taskbar. ®

Tattuesday! This is one piece, wrapping around my forearm.
Part of a tattoo on the arm of a pasty pale white dude: a bat/gargoyle wing depicted in shades of brown, black and grey. The wing is tattered and torn.Center section of same tattoo, an hourglass in black and grey shading with reddish/sepia sand. The sand has mostly fallen to the bottom, representing time running out.Final section of the tattoo, the second wing wrapping around my forearm. It has the same shading as the first wing.

They (and their forebears and fellow travelers) very loudly blamed Germany’s defeat in WW1 on a “stab in the back” by Jews on the home front, for example.
An illustration from a 1919 Austrian postcard showing a caricatured Jew stabbing a German Army soldier in the back with a dagger. The capitulation of the Central Powers was blamed on socialists, Bolsheviks, and the Weimar Republic, but in particular on Jews.
