This is so validating for me because I always feel some sort of pressure to take it down before the new year! What a fun way to keep your tree festive to last through football playoffs! Colorado has this tradition to keep your Christmas tree up until Feb when the stock show happens!

No set time - just when I’m ready to be done being festive. Sometimes that’s early January, sometimes late. The years the Seahawks are in the playoffs I usually take it down when they get the boot…so in 2014 and 2015 it didn’t come down until February 😆 (it’s all Seattle sports ornaments)

Something in me before I started healing myself told me I needed to hold on to all these items for the memories. When I assess these items now in my current state, I legit don't think twice and just throw things out that I used to consider a memory. I feel so happy I'm finally able to let go.
