This has been such a strange season that this weirdness feels about five years ago

At the Emirates stadium in North London on a beautiful summer's day, a football match, the first of the new season, is in progress. During the action, there's a brief incident between two players. The photo shows the aftermath where a large Wolves player is leaning over a prostate arsenal player. The wolves player, in the admittedly gorgeous yellow of the wolves home kit, has one hand on the arsenal player's neck. Most of his weight is on that hand. The arsenal player is protesting, his two hands trying to reach up to push the wolves player away.

You might read that and think gosh, that's not very nice, I hope the referee had a word with the wolves player to say that trying to strangle a person on a football pitch isn't really in the spirit of the game. Perhaps you think the wolves chap should have had a yellow card to go with his yellow shirt, or even a red card to match the arsenal player's shirt. But no. The ref didn't even talk to him.

Later in the same match, the same wolves player tried to put his finger up a different arsenal's players butt. This is fine, according to the referee and VAR. Or a weird instance of sex abuse, if you're most anyone else.

Recipe for TURKEY

Ingredients:
• 3-pound Chicken
5-pound Turkey
• 1 pound of salt
• Teriyaki sauce
• Bones
• Apples
• Carrots
• Broccoli
• Cinnamon
• Spicy sauce
• Lettuce
Preparation:
• Buy a 5-pound turkey and 3-pound chicken from Trader Joe's.
• Take home the turkey and chicken and wash them with a sponge and a paintbrush, but don't put soap.
• Take out the bones, put them on a plate, and put them in the shape of a tent. This will be a decoration.
• Add salt, teriyaki sauce, carrots, cinnamon, lettuce, spicy sauce, and apples to your turkey.
• Put the chicken in the turkey, which will then be "turkey chicken."
• Put the "turkey chicken" in a pan.
• Put it in the oven carefully at 50 degrees.
• Cook the "turkey chicken" for 20 minutes.
• Get oven mittens.
• Carefully take out the turkey using the oven mittens.
• Get a fancy tray or plate, put the "turkey chicken" on it, and put it on the table.
• Invite your family and friends to eat your delicious "turkey chicken."
• Then eat it!

Recipe for STUFFING

Ingredients:
• One whole bowl of beef
• A tablespoon of turkey
• Maybe chicken, like 5 of them
• 30 carrot salad
• 4 specks of pepper
• Tablespoon of green tea
• 200 meters of honey
• Tomatoes
Preparation:
• Season the meat with flour.
• Mix all the ingredients together.
• Next, mash it all up.
• Put it in a bowl.
• Then, put it in a pan.
• Bake at 50 degrees in the oven.
• Put it in the oven for 2 minutes, but not too long!
• Put the mitts on and take it out.
• Top with donuts, ice cream, and cereal.
• Serve on the counter in a big glass bowl.
• Put a serving spoon, fork, and knife in the bowl.
• Invite ourselves, our siblings, parents, and the whole world to eat!

Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients:
• 5 medium size potatoes
• Onions
• A little bit of salt
• 1 cube of butter
• A little water
Preparation:
• Buy the potatoes from Trader Joe s.
• Wash the potatoes with water.
• Take the skin off the potatoes with the same peeler you use for carrots.
• Cut the potatoes with a knife, but be careful.
• Put them in a cooking bowl.
• Splash the potatoes with a fork and a potato smasher.
• Mix the ingredients in the bowl with a salad spoon.
• Put the oven at 50 degrees, so it is hot.
• Put the potatoes in the oven.
• Cook the potatoes for 69 minutes.
• When it is done, let it cool before you take it out of the oven.
• Make sure to use gloves to take it out of the oven.
• Let it cool some more.
• Put it in a nice fancy bowl.
• Serve it to your guests.

Pumpkin Pie
Ingredients:
• 20 pound pumpkin
• Pie
• Sugar
• 5 grams of salt
• 1 whole spoon of vinegar
• 2 drops of vanilla extract
• 2 cinnamon sticks
• Whipped cream
• A whip
• Strawberries
• Pie crust
• Orange food coloring
Preparation:
• Buy a pumpkin from Vons or Trader Joe's.
• Cut the pumpkin open with a knife.
• Pull out all the seeds with gloves.
• Mash the pumpkin with a hammer.
• Put the mashed pumpkin into a bowl.
• Add all the seasonings.
• Put the oven at 102 degrees and cook the pumpkin for 1 hour.
• Take out the pumpkin mush.
• Put it in the pie crust.
• Put the pie back in the oven for 2 minutes.
• Take it out of the oven carefully using gloves and put it on a plate.
• Whip the whipped cream with the whip.
• Add the whipped cream at the top.
• Put a hole in the pie and put the whipped cream inside, as well.
• Serve it to our guests and enjoy!

But how much live sport did those 35+ ppl watch when *they* were 18-24? This isn't an issue unless we know that 18-24s now are watching less than 18-24s ten or twenty years ago. There's so much more going on at that age that I'd argue live sport is less important to them than older ppl.
