Since getting a TourBox I’ve been thinking about how different drawing on the pc is from doing it traditionallly. You enter into certain rhythms and create mental pathways that are constantly solved in a second, like: zoom, rotate, eyedropper, fill.

Asha put this team of Pokemon together. It's the "art" team made of several artistic disciplines.

A collage of several Pokemon around the theme of art disciplines. From left to right: Exeggutor alolan version (landscape or gardening), Muk alolan version (a bunch of paint lol), Alcremie (fine pastry), Chatot (music), Honedge (blacksmithing/metal works), Palossand (architecture), Smeargle (painting), Mr Mime (performance), Chandelure (Interior decoration), Regice (Ice sculpting), Polteageist (ceramic crafts) Bellossom (dance).

A belated happy birthday present for Kiara. #kiarart

Digital painting of vtuber Kiara in her idol version dress, floating among a starry, space themed enbulous background. She's relaxed, twisting her torso slightly towards the observer. Her left arm is raised and on the middle finger a small star shaped earring hangs. The painting has vibrant, purple, blue and green colors, with an overall expressive brushtroke style.

Take this broken wings and learn to fly #higartdo

Higado in Witch/Cowboy outfit lying on a dirt ground with few golden blades of grass around and their magic wand/revolver also lying next to them. They appear relaxed with both hands under their chin. A group of petrified blogs and twigs appear behind the character, two whiter, dead; trees are behing and almost appear to be two dead wings coming out of their back. Even further back we see a gigantic dark grey moon rising.

Thank you all for coming to the stream! It felt so good to be back! One of the things I've been working on is a new ref sheet. Here you have it! #higartdo

Ref sheet for higado in their Witch/Cowboy outfit. It's a front and back look of the character with legs spread and hands on their hips. There's also three bubbles next to it that show the Magic Wand revolver; which is a regular revolver without a barrel, a cylinder and a hammer and instead a magic wand is lodged in there; a close up look of the face with straight long blonde hair, a moon earring and big glasses with silver eagles on the frames; and a drawing of higado sitting simplifying all aspects of the design. The outfit is a mix between a witch and cowboy look, the hat is a hybrid of both concepts, with a long tail that falls on the back and has a levitating slime ball at the end. The outfit also has a harness that goes around the chest and has a japa mala hanging in the back. In general the outfit has two colors: dark grey and gold, the latter is used to create rose, thorns and leave patterns all over the cape, long sleeve gloves and cowboy chaps.

I watched I think four times Gentlemen Broncos (2009) between this and last week. A film I saw back in 2010 almost by accident but left an indelible impression in me. Time has only made my appreciation of it grow, it’s one of my favorite films.

Looking through files I found some of the raw footage that I used for the Dance of the Kaiju animation. You might find it interesting about the process of making it.
