He is quality. You can see that but you have to build your structure around him or he is an accent on a win more team. It's like Nico Pepe. They are good players but the price and expectations are understandably high. Also they are not English so they get much less grace.

Growing up watching the NFL, so it's probably me being American. Why a soft headbutt is automatically deemed worse than horse collaring someone or sliding tackling someone from behind? Especially when you can get punched in the face on a corner. From a safety perspective, I think it's crazy.

There was a match in the second half of last season where he kept cutting inside when he should have gone down the line. One time I thought he surely was going to create a chance by cutting inside. He goes down the line. If his decision making or crossing gets better, he would be world class.

After the Invincibles season, it was mostly a sham. You can't tell this story without Chelsea. So does Mourinho have 4, 3, or 1 Premier League titles? Chelsea and City teams were essentially juiced. They may have won on the field but some of them shouldn't have been there in the first place.

City players saying their team still won it on the field distracts from the fact that most of the team should not have been on the field. This is pretty privilege like Mourinho/Chelsea. You win and people forget. You do it with style and they forgive.

The only titles I care about revisiting are Liverpool's. Especially the Klopp ones. Unlike some, I always rooted for them vs City in title races, except the Slot year. They were the north star for us. We knew what they did was glorious. Some of the greatest teams ever. Now it can't be denied.

In this conversation about City charges, there's not enough Chelsea hate. Maybe hyperbole but the timeline of geopolitical and economic ruptures that brought us here reflects Chelsea's timeline. Their values as a club align with the values of a broken culture and society. Oh and John Terry.

Saw someone say City are the Lance Armstrong of the Premier League. Related to @gunnerblog.bsky.social point, that's if the EPL was all a bunch of Chelsea's. City is a data driven, modern Chelsea. Chelsea was a cheating version of Man U with strong advantages but not fully competent.

Arteta won the league with difficulty modifiers. Arsenal had an injury crisis from MW1 and the team almost won a historic double. Other clubs would have not qualified for Europe and fired their coach. Like him or not, he is generational. I had given up on the idea that we could win the league again.

Had no info but I expected her to leave because there was no news, Ona, and the money from the NWSL for a US player. She is an underrated world class US player which is strange. Probably the most consistently good Arsenal player since she joined. Seems she connected to Arsenal community work.

My frustration has always been with the language of the rules and how VAR is implemented. A referee is one person with a one sightline 10-20 yards away. I wouldn't even call them mistakes but stuff happens. 5-0 is pretty clear. The words used and applied are imprecise.

We do complain a lot here. However, I will not accept that we are insufferable. Manchester United and Chelsea fans saw Gary Neville and John Terry and said that's our club. We may be a little annoying but there are loads of people ahead of us here. Some even jumped the queue, you can say.

23-24 is possibly an indicator of the potential, and I mean floor. Odegaard adjusted his role because Xhaka left and Rice was acclimating. Kai only got going in the 2nd half. This is a way better team. (I think Arsenal win that year with Xhaka)
