I find that Disney is a lot better at stealth queer content in tween/teen shows and books these days than most people realize. And by stealth content I mean they don't advertise it but the text is front and center if you get a few episodes in.

I watched the tail end and was very confused by so many things, starting with how they didn't actually play clips of the songs and ending with how anyone could be surprised that Taylor swift won a popularity contest (though i appreciated that half her speech was giving props to Dolly Parton)

I was very confused, but at least they kept their signature ballad. Maybe they're paying the non "celeb" players less and sunk some of the leftover money into the music budget. Maybe their budget was increased because they're killing it.

Lots of jury interviews about the final 3 with clips the casuals haven't seen before. Especially with Dee because they've done some delightful bonding since Angela left. Did they show the M&M strategy scene early on? This happens often enough that I assume they have clips set aside just in case.

I feel like she would have gone home this week if she didn't win something. Her being HOH and safe means that one of the other 3 has to go and I honestly can't predict how any of the 4 will jump if they win veto (do they get out a perceived threat, play the loyalty card, cut the annoying one).

I've been thinking about this too. The issues this season have not been about the gameplay. Before last night's ep, I would have said any one of them could have taken it to the end. Now, I feel like Drew's burned the jury management to his own detriment, but the rest all have a shot.

I want them to be petty and I want them to be messy. Lie to each other. Make moves out of spite or impulse or just cause you're bored. I find that much more interesting than some alliance picking off one person after another with no opposition.
