I think this brown rice brightening cleansing oil is working - cause this is my face without any foundation today. Switched to oil based cleanser as A) the last foaming cleanser I used was so painful on the eyes, and B) in my advancing peri-menopausal years my face is devoid of moisture.

Amazing, we saw a female lesser stag the other day, my first in the UK. I've seen them before in Bulgaria when I visited my late dad. I have a couple of Bandai premium gacha models of stag beetles, they're life size!

First time with my tablet in a long time, figured I would paint something I know well (I love bugs, a lot a lot)

It is Disability Pride Month! This year, disability pride for me is: 1. Accepting my disabilities and how they fluctuate. 2. Accepting myself because of and despite disability. 3. Trying to be rebelliously positive and joyful in the face of widespread normalised ableism.

The 2021 Disability Pride Flag - Created by disabled writer, artist and activist Ann Magill in response to critical accessibility feedback of the first iteration.

A faded black background to represent the rage against how disabled people are mistreated, while also commemorating disabled people who have died, including from neglect and ableism.

Found my old portfolio from when I used to do Blender lessons 1-1 to Second Lifers and the testimonials have me emotional. These are some from around 2014 ish - I taught more than 120 people. I have censored my Second Life username cause no one needs to see that now hah

It has been over two years since I had my first class but it did not take me long to learn from Harriet.

She was always available to answer questions if I had any doubts and after just two classes on one-on-one I was able to mesh entirely and create full release products with a program I had learned about just one week before.

My life has become easier after this and part of it I have her to thank for. Great teacher, clear explanations and always available to help and answer any doubts we might have!

Harriet really knows her stuff, not just with regards to the software and modelling techniques, but she also has a real flair for teaching. She can convey often complicated information simply and effectively in her lesson demonstrations, at a range of abilities.

Not only can Harriet explain specific techniques you might want to learn, she can also offer a broad and solid foundation on which to further your own learning and hone your Blender skills. She's an excellent one-on-one teacher and I can't recommend her enough!

Taking lessons one on one with Harriet was one of the smartest things I could've done to start learning to create mesh. I literally knew nothing, Blender was an alien program to me. Within a few lessons I was able to make most meshes, rig, texture and feel really comfortable working with Blender!

Harriet was patient and I could fire all my questions I had at her. Trust me, there were a lot! Aside from being a great teacher, she's also a very sweet and genuine person to work with. I'd definitely recommend everyone wanting to learn, or even just to polish up your skills to take a class with her.

Goodbye George Stanley, you were the best thing to happen to me. You crawled up my legs at 10 weeks old and into my heart. I will miss you for the rest of my days.

My little best bud, my furry son has finally reached the end stage of his 15 year old life. His care is now palliative as his human grandparents help him live out the rest of his time comfortably. It has been the greatest honor of my life and a privilege to be loved by George and to care for him.
