High altitude wilderness on #lomochrome via my Olympus Pen FT. I tend to get pretty desaturated skies with lomochrome and I'm not really sure if it’s down to shooting it at 100 iso, or it’s just how the film is in general. I still love the look anyway. #hff #halfframe #believeinfilm #ハーフカメラ

This is so cool. I developed a roll of Kodachrome in caffenol ages ago but kind of forgot about it as it looked a bit underdeveloped and I hadn't worked out how best to scan it. Great to see some good results as inspiration.

Little summer glen, captured with a Fujifilm point and shoot on my first roll of @harmanphoto.co.uk Phoenix 200. I shot this at 100 ISO, processed it with fairly old Tetenal chemicals, and I’m actually really happy how the pics turned out. Feels like it did on the day. #believeinfilm #harmanphoenix

That's interesting Bob, cool to hear how versatile film use was. I guess the film still available today probably wouldn't be sensitive enough for that sort of thing. The stock I used here is classed more as near infrared I think.

Have you tried just clicking the white balance dropper on your black borders? That should remove the colour cast from the film stock.

A colder than it looks winter cloud inversion captured with my Olympus Pen FT on Fuji Velvia (cross processed in C41). Normally I see these in the morning at this time of year but this one was late afternoon when the sun was close to setting. #believeinfilm #selfprocessed #expiredfilm #hff

Low winter sun flits across the top of a cloud filled valley between the forest, heather and grassland covered slopes. Long shadows track towards us from the trees who do their best to reach above the fog. The scene feels warmer than the day it represents.

Sure of course, I basically used the CL recipe - 1 litre distilled water, 16g sodium carbonate, 10g vitamin C, 40g value brand instant coffee, 2g potassium bromide. Semi stand developed (agitate at 5, 10 and 15 mins) for 55 minutes at 20 deg C.

Rugged valley views high in the Cordillera Blanca, captured on Lomochrome purple via my trusty Pen FT. The landscape here was so different from home and I’m glad I captured some of it on this film stock. #believeinfilm #halfframe #hff #🎞️

You can get collapsible bottles, but I just use old soft drink / soda bottles and squirt a little butane lighter refill gas in the top before storage. It’s heavier than air so creates an inert layer on top of the fluid that stops oxidisation. Plus fridge storage and they last for ages.
