She had an extensive scan today, some issues that will be followed up, but her doctor is convinced everything is fine. Annabel said she will sleep tonight. Odd things like measurements being 0.5 mm less than ‘abnormal’, etc. None of Rory’s problems.

My pregnant daughter is having extensive scans because of her brother’s multiple birth defects. I think I am struggling emotionally more than my daughter. A new set of results today are only flagged and followed up on because of family history. It’s hard not to be paralysed with fear. /1

The seizures don't seem to have a trigger, but if they increase in frequency and/or strength, we will consider meds. Have I told you we recently got a rescue cat who loves dogs, and the cat bosses Indi around already. So adorable.

She seems to be having them roughly once every 6 months. Recovers well, within hours. The vet and I are in accordance that medication is not warranted yet. It's pretty scary for us humans watching her though. Ironically, my son has epilepsy and I've never seen him seizing (he does it elsewhere!)
