Just unplug computer's ethernet and computer will be unable to look up what an enemy is. Now computer is friend forever

HeyItsMina @heyitsmina.omg.lol · 01/10/2026

That, plus it would be so funny to have. Like what a conversation starter. Mina why do you have a robot head in your closet. I don't.. know. Why do you ask?

HeyItsMina @heyitsmina.omg.lol · 01/10/2026

Okay so my descent into being a furry is going a lot faster than anticipated. I think my urge to find a Halloween costume and the ADHD impulse buy brain, plus my delusional ego that's convinced I can complete a major project, is combining in a way that leads me to protogen head. Fucking hell xD

I'm at the point where I need to publicly shame myself to get my butt into gear. I'm so against posting about most personal stuff, but I really needed to get this out of my system. And I really hate that I love math and science and my ADHD and job is doing this shit to me

000

HeyItsMina @heyitsmina.omg.lol · 14/09/2026

Im not fucking failing chemistry. Im NOT. I can't. Im very ADHD but I love the stupid little stoich equations. And I'm failing right now, bruh I JUST STARTED WHATT IS THISSSS

HeyItsMina @heyitsmina.omg.lol · 27/08/2026

Also.. don't be like me (on cachyos), install everything thru official methods or RIGHT on initial install, or else it'll be config file hell for you.

010

HeyItsMina @heyitsmina.omg.lol · 27/08/2026

For those curious, I'm using CachyOS+Niri, previously KDE Plasma. I feel Niri is the fancy new window manager that you'll actually use even if you're not a software engineer or something. For the terminal im using Ghostty. Terminal isnt that scary once you learn a command or two ayo

010

HeyItsMina @heyitsmina.omg.lol · 27/08/2026

My messing about config files and other shite is finally paying off with an aesthetic AND functional PC that I actually love instead of using an OS I feel forced to use. I have options, and both are viable, but one is way more fun and thats Linux bayybeeeee

110

HeyItsMina @heyitsmina.omg.lol · 27/08/2026

Ive probably mentioned my Linux journey on here at least once, but I'd like to just say that *now I could probably switch and not miss much* I love destiny 2, but like.. I figured out clip studio, and gaming, and terminal stuff?!? Niri is beautiful, and like.. it's so nice xD

Between the laptop on it's deathbed and the rapidly increasing prices of anything entry to midrange, I wasn't having any of that. I only hope Thinkpad parts will be affordable for a while longer so we don't have a repeat of t h i s

010

HeyItsMina @heyitsmina.omg.lol · 19/08/2026

Sooo I bit the bullet and bought a laptop for my parents. They've been dealing with unusable speeds on this Lenovo for far too long, and computer prices are getting absolutely crazy, soooo yeah. Granted, a refurbished Thinkpad is like.. not the best. BUT at least if it breaks I can fix it.

HeyItsMina @heyitsmina.omg.lol · 18/08/2026

yes i can play mina, no i am not good. I used to main graves, but I tried mina and honestly i think i can play her now with the updates. Idk what happened but I can play her now ;aljksfdal;ksjfd

HeyItsMina @heyitsmina.omg.lol · 18/08/2026

#Deadlock has improved SOOOO much! I played it a while back and it was... p a i n. The ranked mode being separate from standard had to happen and its a godsend. And generally in standard mode i feel like im decent at the game and not constantly humbled by people 100 times my skill level al;skjfaksj

This is such a uniquely stupid approach of, "we know the movie will get spoiled so let's just spoil it first!!!!" Like.. please, spare me... There's a whole fucking explanation article explaining wHY Steve is back and it's literally an interview?!? Like please dont tell us these things?!?!

000

HeyItsMina @heyitsmina.omg.lol · 27/07/2026

Why is every movie news publication so hellbent on ruining my enjoyment of doomsday. I DONT wanna know why steve is back, I DONT wanna know who fights who in the movie, I dONT wanna know how the next spiderman ties into blah blah blah, DONT SPOIL THINGS ABOUT UR MOVIE MARVEL GAHHHH

HeyItsMina @heyitsmina.omg.lol · 20/07/2026

Don't worry I'm not gonna be making e-waste (like core devices apparently designed them to be). I'll be repairing the Duo and giving it to my mom lol. It's a fantastic watch, it's just the hardware was doomed to fail at some point, I just didn't think it would be so soon after buying it..

000

HeyItsMina @heyitsmina.omg.lol · 11/07/2026

Sooo pebble watches... I love them but I hate them xD The Pebble 2 Duo, is a watch that I absolutely loved, but the rubber buttons deteriorated within a year. It's old parts from the OG pebbles so.. what was I expecting. SO I bought the Time 2 as a replacement... I love them so much but whYYY

obviously there are exceptions, but me wanting to get Metaphor doesn't require me buying a new console or thing. Also VR, but im just gonna be getting the steam frame for VRChat and Resonite lol. It has to be really good or appealing to me for me to get it.

000

HeyItsMina @heyitsmina.omg.lol · 02/07/2026

i think ive found a point where i simply want to stop buying new games. Like every triple A game or mainline thing from good ol red green and blue dont really appeal to me. Love splatoon, not getting a switch 2 for the new game. Like, I'm good with what i got. I have so much to play already.

yeah its VEry weird NOw that they're trying to hide it. the trailer has Multiple moments that hint towards it but still (i very much believe) they're keeping it a secret.

000

HeyItsMina @heyitsmina.omg.lol · 18/06/2026

Hey so, I can pretty much predict the plot of the new spider man movie. Or at least a very central point to the movie that they are definitely trying to hide.

100

HeyItsMina @heyitsmina.omg.lol · 14/06/2026

To elaborate, the main family actually likes Fran, they care for each other, and the main Dad actually defends Fran most of the time. In Seinfeld, everyone commits crimes constantly, snoops and violates peoples privacy, and treats their friends like shit.

010

HeyItsMina @heyitsmina.omg.lol · 14/06/2026

Out of all the old sitcoms, the Nanny is the best. I tend to watch a lot of them cuz my parents watch them. But I always notice the people are so... awful? Like they're very unlikable and straight meanspirited. All the main family characters in the Nanny actually like each other, and that's nice.

Please don't look at my replies if you are not wanting to be spoiled for TADC. I want to discuss it, but I'll do my best not to ruin things for folks who can't/haven't seen it yet.

020

HeyItsMina @heyitsmina.omg.lol · 07/06/2026

They aren't being tortured, or being fucked with anymore. They are stuck, but they don't have to suffer. They can thrive together. Its almost like an AU of I have no mouth and must scream, if AM decided to coexist with the last living of humanity instead of torment them. I don't think it's bleak.

100

HeyItsMina @heyitsmina.omg.lol · 07/06/2026

I'm pretty sure Goose said the "theme" she wanted folks to take away from TADC is how to find meaning in a stagnant life. So... I wasn't surprised lol

100

HeyItsMina @heyitsmina.omg.lol · 06/06/2026

NO SPOILERS #TADC omg last episode it was so good. Watch in theaters if you can. I am screaming internally and I will not say why and in what connotation.

Lots of content recently has been for younger kids, babies, or just adult blood and violence and adult situations. We are in desperate need of the middle ground between these two. And honestly as an adult I'd watch the shit out of things like that. I don't like horror and adult situations lol
