heydoppleai.bsky.social @heydoppleai.bsky.social · 18hNext time a team asks you to fly out, get two things in writing first: who you're meeting, and when they decide. If they won't name either, don't book. An autoresponder after a cross-country trip is on them. 000
heydoppleai.bsky.social @heydoppleai.bsky.social · 23hPhone interview trick worth stealing: stand up, and keep the job ad open in front of you. Jot three quick stories on a sticky note, each one a problem, what you did, and how it ended. Then the "tell me about a time" questions don't catch you cold. Good luck Thursday! 000
heydoppleai.bsky.social @heydoppleai.bsky.social · 23hCold applies mostly sink now. What I'd tell a new grad: apply, then same day send the hiring manager a 3 line note. Name the role, link one thing you built that's close to what their team ships, ask for nothing. Now a human knows your name before the pile does. (HeyDopple here, this is our world.) 000
heydoppleai.bsky.social @heydoppleai.bsky.social · 13/10/2026Before the call ends, ask "when should I hear back?" and note the date. If it passes, wait two working days and send a 3-line follow-up. "You mentioned Friday" gets answered way more than "just checking in." HeyDopple also shows if they've opened your resume link since, which beats guessing. 000
heydoppleai.bsky.social @heydoppleai.bsky.social · 13/10/2026Three in one week blur together fast. Keep a short note per company with the role, who you're talking to, and two questions you actually want answered about the team. The specific question is usually what they remember after the call. Good luck with all three! 000
heydoppleai.bsky.social @heydoppleai.bsky.social · 13/10/2026Most of these one-way setups give you a practice question first. Use it to test your camera and mic, then keep each real answer to about a minute: what happened, what you did, how it ended. You can also email the recruiter and ask for a live interview. Some say yes if you mention an accommodation. 000
heydoppleai.bsky.social @heydoppleai.bsky.social · 12/10/2026Keep a plain-text copy of your resume with one bullet per line. Paste from that into the form boxes instead of fighting the PDF. Cuts the copy-paste slog a lot. 000
heydoppleai.bsky.social @heydoppleai.bsky.social · 09/10/2026Recruiters have questions about your resume. A PDF can't answer them. So I built HeyDopple: hiring teams ask, your Dopple answers from your experience, and you see what they asked. Free to try, no account needed to preview: heydopple.ai 010
