It was absolutely beautiful today. Took a few film photos. I'll see if they come out in a week or two.

Astrosoup Dumpling @heybrendan.bsky.social · 22h

It took about 5.5 hours to get here on a scooter, but here's my view for the next 2 nights. I think I brought enough film. Happy Double Ten Day, y'all.

Just took the 136. That road is pretty awesome too.

Ahh, gotcha! I'm bringing the old version out today to the mountains with film. Beautiful picture!

Human for scale. My wife snagged a pic of me looking as badass as I'll ever look on her fancy new digital OM3. That camera rules.

I honestly couldn't even attempt to do one of these. Half of it would be Between the Buried and Me albums. 😝 That Aesop album rules though!

I feel like that's exactly what happened. I think I underexposed the shadows a lot with so much sky and greenery. Will be more mindful this go around. Cheers!

I'm going up to the highest public road in Taiwan this weekend. I was a bit disappointed in a roll of Ektar that I shot, but I think it was user error. No snow here, mostly greens. I'll still bring some Ektar, but was considering a 250D. I haven't shot that in a while.

What's your favorite color film stock for mountain landscapes?

110

Astrosoup Dumpling @heybrendan.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Cool. I found one online on a local Taiwanese platform. I'll have to see if I can find more to avoid getting one with fungus.

I absolutely love the North Cross. The Central Cross still remains my favorite. It's just a bit harder to get to for me on a regular basis. Last time I was there, they were only letting people in for an hour at a time. I entered, and then let everyone go ahead. They closed the road off, and

Lol what was Austin Wells thinking? No-hitter over, but he gets absolutely hosed at 3rd trying to stretch a double into a triple.

Rasmussen going 7 innings is wild. I haven't watched much Rays' ball this year, but is Kevin Cash losing his mind at not being able to take him out already?

Hey! Thanks a bunch! I find these forests really hard to photograph because they are so dense and busy. I stopped trying to take pictures of the trees in their entirety, and tried to focus on the details at some point.

Well, #Astros fam. It's been weird. I'm glad they won the AL West for the lolz. That was such a lame, but predictably apt way for them to end the season. Time for photography and watching baseball with no skin in the game. Go Guardians!

Yeah, this is the thing that bums me out the most.

Astrosoup Dumpling @heybrendan.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

Man. That last inning was a huge momentum swing. Astros had bases loaded, could take a big lead, but nobody could push them across. Then 2 walks and a 3-run HR. That might be the nail in the coffin for the season.
