Bonus: A little #Hexbert their poses loaded magically into to ease the pain (warning due to sheer panties, nothing crazy, sorry to disappoint. If this site labels it as worse, it's because they're not allowed to be happy)

Hex & Ardbert dressed down & sleeping next to each other in The Pendants room, their arms wrapped around each other, Hex's head against Ardbert's chest. Both of them have serene smiles on their faces.

#Hexbert #WolbertWeek #WolbertWeek2026 Day 5: Closeness/Distance (Doing a 2 for 1!) When you're so close, but still can't touch.

It is dark in The Pendants room. Hex is sleeping against Ardbert, lying close to him, her hand seemingly against his "chest," or would be, if he had a corporeal form, so rather, her hands are through his "body" against the bed instead. Ardbert is fully dressed (can a ghost change clothes?) and is lying on his back, eyes open, with a sad, contemplative look on his face as he looks at his hand.

#Hexen This random shot Zen was trying to take while I was running by. Idk why Hex is making that face because he said he didn’t even know I was there.

Zen on the party boat, standing for the camera, wearing shades.

Meanwhile, Hex is storming by behind him, for some reason, she looks angry (Zen claims he didn’t even know I was there when I passed by)

Not his response from creeping into his bed! (Not sure if I'm missing something with the other romanced bachelors but Caldarus just Zzz's, Ryis was a normal conversation, & Balor isn't in bed at 1:40 (chickened out, didn't want to faint despite penalty being off. Also March goes to bed early lol)

#HexLore #HexyGposes Ever since Hex was a child, she had shorter hair. It was easier to maintain. After EW, she starts to grow it out, to the shoulder/upper back lengths you're all used to seeing her with. So an older pose of Hex with her shorter hair, and a shot of Hex with super long hair.

An old gpose of Hex stilling under a tree, surrounded by plants. She has layered hair to about chin length, and a braid to shoulder length.

#HexLore #HexDesign ARR->SHB (it'll be 2 carousels of pics, since she had different outfits for post expansion patches) Hex didn't really have a defined style until SB (aka: she just wore what she was given) though probably most often in MNK AF gear.⤵️

Hex @hexedrain.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

And I love when artists give him Forget-me-nots, which I assigned as Hex's flower without even considering him. Like can you imagine him gifting her a bouquet of them, promising her he'd get her back to her "real" home? But I do tend to keep game canon deaths in Hex's canon so...

Hex kneeling and praying on the hillside overlooking Amaurot. There are blue flowers scattered in the air.

This was just me testing out the flowers, but I do love this pic a lot. Unfortunately, since I was only testing things, I didn't change Hex's hair to her shorter style, so it's not canon to this time.

030

Hex @hexedrain.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

But their SHB parallels are so good! I love how they both just want to return home, how try as they might, the struggle to leave the past & accept where they ended up is too real. (There's also how Viera lifespan will cause her to outlive most new loved ones which but I haven't explored that much).⤵️

Emet-Selch leaning down to kiss a Sineater Hex. Her eyes are not visible, but she has a smile across her lips. Amaurot is in the background.

Hex @hexedrain.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

I'm a bad ES fan though. I only came to like him in EW because tsuns are my weakness (though I did appreciate him a lot more in SHB after EW). I also really enjoy seeing others' villain ships but there's just something that makes me not too fond of shipping my own oc's with villains.⤵️

Astraea in Amaurot with past Emet-Selch, eagerly handing him a gift. He is trying to turn it down.

Hex in Elpis, handing past Emet-Selch a gift, as if instinctively. As if also by instinct, Emet-Selch holds his hands out as if to accept it.

Hex turned away, looking down as Venat laughs, reminding herself of the war crimes the Emet-Selch she knows had committed. Emet-Selch is lecturing Hythlodaeus who is also laughing, annoyed at what transpired. He is, however, holding the item Hex gave him.

Hex @hexedrain.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

#HexedAU This is tough because I'm so stuck on Hexbert & Rainwaters that I don't think I could ship anything else..? Anytime I've remotely considered, I usually move on pretty quickly (like next patch). Only exception might be Emet-Selch since I ended up creating Hex's Azem, Astraea, around him..?⤵️

Emet-Selch lecturing Hex. Hex is standing blankly at him, but there is a shade of Astraea standing next to her, teasing him over his words.

#HexDesign This is the one everyone recognizes Hex in. Prior to glamour becoming unrestricted, this was Hex’s civilian attire & I hc’d people could dress outside class/job, but couldn’t fight in it. Now that those limits are gone, idk what I consider this, but it’s still her most signature outfits

Hex in the Ravel Keeper too of casting with sarcnet arm bands & a corsage. She is holding the Fae’s Crown Tathlum. Her signature outfit is usually this top with some kind of long glovelet & a corsage usually in red.

For the brush, you can use pvc pipe for the base and foam around it for bits that jut out. You can also use fittings under the foam for a little more structure. The pipe is also a great way to get the bristles (however you make them) to stick in I'm not too sure about that other shape though⤵️

110

Hex @hexedrain.bsky.social · 24/06/2026

You can use eva foam for this. I don't veer too far from thin foam, but maybe use two 10mm for the base circle (easier to cut) & 4mm for defining shapes. For the outlines that stick out, clay foam is great, but it does dry quick so store that sealed tightly & work fast.⤵️

We don't usually see each other's headers so here's mine! Blue flowers drifting off to sea!

My header consisting of Hex kneeling by the sea you come out of at the end of Shadowbringers. A faded Ardbert ghost stands beside her, a hand on her back.

In the front, looking away from the sea, is Hex’s Azem, Astraea, also in prayer/reflection. She’s slightly transparent & tinted orange like the sun. There are blue flowers flying out to sea, meant to replicate the blue flowers sent downstream in Rak'tika for those who leave (in my headcanon, they’re forget-me-nots, which are both Hex’s flower & the flower I see a lot of artists use for a certain Ascian that was just put down under that sea). The flowers start off right behind Astraea as if she’s the one who’s leaving them.

I know this is about headers, but icon is art of Hex holding a flower by @/geckowithcramp.bsky.social

#HexLore #Hexbert Hex got to intimately know Ardbert's soul & she knew he was now a part of her that she couldn't talk to anymore, so even when she 1st heard people talking about him, there was this feeling she had where she just immediately knew it wasn't him.⤵️

A cutscene of Hex confronting Elidibert in The Ocular at the Crystarium. Ardbert's body has Elidibus' sigil across his face

Part of the cutscenes. Hex's saddened face looking at Elidibert. There is a light that hits her eyes in this scene and nearly every other where it looks like she's on the verge of tears (even my WoL doesn't usually cry)

#HexMunstrosityWIP Was keeping this on the dl, because I knew I wasn’t going to finish on time with how involved it is & my skill level. Unfortunately, I let myself get too engrossed in this so didn’t even get to finish my other cosplay. But some progress shots.⤵️

The base of the Ravel Keeper top of casting. The skirt is two shades of teals, the darker side with fringe. The bottom side of the lighter side is unfinished. There is an olive green waistband & a black sash wrapped around with a wide tan-ish yellow feather.

On the top part, one of the triangles is finished, the other still has clips in it. This is still missing the two strips near the waist. There are two silver clips near the shoulders

There is a bought necklace with a changed center made of silver painted worbla.

The rest of the “feathers” for the cosplay & the brown “leather” piece(?). The “feathers” are made from foam colored in gradients of mostly turquoise with greens & reds. There are some more tan toned “feathers” mixed in.
