I saw a video of someone doing nightmare + pusher shenanigans back when the first SSS mode came put (the one most people hated and they nerfed several times). Because enemy defensive stats would climb so high and because Iron Carrot Mine's boss map looked like THIS you could do some funny shit there

I absolutely don't, I'd just m9 them for the love of the game. I plugged the remaining skills into a planner (11 6-star m3s, 4 5-star m3s, plus also maxing out Kal'tsit Alter when she releases) and the result is just. Not too bad. Mostly I'm going to need to micromanage my workshop ops for a bit.

You know, this thread made me consider how many m9s I have, and I actually had fewer than I thought? Only (heh) nine of them, I coulda sworn it was more. And one of them is Raidian, who m9s herself for free lmao.

A tier list chart showing Arknights characters arranged by skill maxability. The first tier is "Proper M9 Value" with Saria, Nearl the Radiant Knight, Shu, Leizi the Thunderbringer, and Raidian. The second tier is "M6 for power but gets M9 as a treat" and has Rosmontis and Wiš'adel. The third tier is "you didn't earn this but you're a fav so it's fine" with Mostima and Saileach, and the last tier is "M21" and it's just Amiya.

For the longest time I had an m4 Mostima because I had misclicked while masterying her third skill and you can't take that back. Years later I finally went "fuck it I'm gonna m9 her and erase this curse from my account" lmao

Mostima's three skills. The first one is Mastery 1 and the third one is Mastery 3.

There are a few things that can be construed as lore but there's no *cohesive story* about it. Literally all we have that's 'canon' is a handful of moments in the entire mode, and they're not in any specific order!

I've had a grudge over this stuff for years because of the IS3 plot summary they have had in various forms when it's just... No, nothing in the mode actually says this happens. This is fanfiction. We currently have no idea what the true diegesis of IS3 is.

The manga Yotsukoto is a seriously underrated gem, but this specific gag when one of the main characters is introduced never ceases to amuse me. It's just there in the background when she explains her motivations, and I think about it pretty much any time I pick a sword in a game or something.
