It's kinda sad that these AI "artists" will never know the feeling you get when finishing a piece of art you've crafted completely yourself That feeling is incomparable

Dance All Night is out now!!! House song I cooked up with Steve Wah. It was fun working on an instrumental track with him this time! Cover art by Sam Poncé instagram.com/samwichcrumbs

A major musical roadblock for me is routine and the complacency I find in it. Over my 14 years of making music, I’ve developed many techniques and found many sounds, samples, and presets that work well in my music. 1/6

I struggle a lot with feeling lost in life, but lately I’ve been feeling a bit better. I’ve thought of going back to school, I’ve tried picking up other hobbies that I thought could turn into a career, but none of that turned into anything. 1/4

Been cooking up A LOT of new tunes lately! Which of these is your fav?

Brandon Turner @hexadecibelska.bsky.social · 09/05/2026

Genres? We’ve got ‘em!!! My debut album ‘Get Rude! Stay Rude!’ was filled with so many genres, but it was also my first time experimenting with some of them. ‘Click Clack’ was my first ever reggaeton song and ‘Lost’ was the first time I tried my hand at jungle. 1/2

I fear that it may be physically impossible for me to stick to writing one genre. This becomes evident on the album I released last week, Get Rude! Stay Rude! 1/5

Remind me to check the pronunciation of words I’ve never heard before recording them. I mispronounced a word in my latest song and NO I won’t fix it! (the project file is corrupted) It’s personality ACETIC not ascetic 😭. But for real, aren’t bigots the worst? 1/2

I'm so excited to announce that my debut album is coming out April 22! It's called 'Get Rude! Stay Rude!' and it's a mix of ska, reggaeton, house, jungle, and so much more! I can't wait for you to hear it!!!

Who else out here being queer™️? I recently talked a bit about the common queer experience of receiving hate from sad, pathetic, bigots, but how do you cope with that kinda hate? ✨COMMUNITY✨ 1/4

Brandon Turner @hexadecibelska.bsky.social · 11/04/2026

❗❗❗ QUEER ALERT ❗❗❗ I’m queer, and I just released a song about an unfortunately common experience that queer people face. That is, dealing with hateful bigots that have nothing better to do than bring us down for just being who we are. 1/3

Some people seem like they have it all figured out. This is such an alien concept to me, as I have a hard time seeing myself ever feeling this way. 1/4

Brandon Turner @hexadecibelska.bsky.social · 04/04/2026

I love music so much! Like…SO much!!! And not just one or two specific genres, but all of it! I love the aggression and sound design of dubstep, the catchiness of ska, the creativity of digital hardcore and hyperpop, and if a song doesn’t fit into any genre at all, then I love it even more! 1/3

I talked previously about how I’ve felt lost in life. I think a lot of that feeling comes from the expectations society puts on you to start a career, and the meaning you’re supposed to find in that. 1/4

Brandon Turner @hexadecibelska.bsky.social · 28/03/2026

It can be HARD to know what to do with your life. God knows I’ve struggled trying to figure it out. I used to think I knew what I wanted to do, then that didn’t work out, then I was sure of this other path, but that didn’t work either. 1/3

Brandon Turner @hexadecibelska.bsky.social · 25/03/2026

Lost is out now!!! I played with a new genre with this one. Hope y'all like jungle! On top of the atmospheric jungle instrumental, this one touches on the feeling of not having life completely figured out. Relatable, right?

Brandon Turner @hexadecibelska.bsky.social · 23/03/2026

Who else has the most absurd working titles for songs? Most of the time when I start a song, I have no idea where it’s gonna go, which makes naming it pretty difficult. I always end up giving them a stupid name like blingus jones or funkert. 1/2

110

Brandon Turner @hexadecibelska.bsky.social · 20/03/2026

Did you know that Funked Up was initially meant to just be an instrumental? Well of course not, how could you have? I sent the instrumental off to Ottie High-Definition to get feedback on and they hit me with a “hold my beer”. 1/3

I love my morning coffee(s), but what I love even more is starting a new project with that coffee in hand. Getting that inspiration and motivation to start working on a new song right in the morning, while not being quite awake yet is one of my favourite feelings. 1/2

Brandon Turner @hexadecibelska.bsky.social · 14/03/2026

If you know me, you know I can’t stick to making one style of music. I love switching up and mixing genres together, and that’s certainly what I did with my latest song Funked Up! 1/2

Electro-ska is back!!! Got the opportunity to work with Ottie High-Definition on this song, which was such a treat. Punchy drums, synths, drum breaks, and smooth ska guitar define this song sonically, but the added vocals really brought everything together and pushed it to the next level. Enjoy :)
