Here's me on Ace Combat 8 for @player2au.bsky.social . AC8 builds on what was laid down with AC7, offering more thrilling and expansive aerial shenanigans. That's coupled with a move to present its story from a more personal perspective.

My rush to finish the original game was partly inspired by wanting to not be spoiled for the last part of the game when I went to this preview. Turns out everything is so different that it didn't matter, but it was still fun to be able to get a taste of the evolution! (Truly so much FF7 this year)

I'd played games since I was a tacker and there were plenty of games that I loved. From Wolf 3D, Doom, Jill of the Jungle etc. but there is one game that showed me just how good they can be and made me chase writing about them. I was 18 at the time.

It pisses me off how whenever groups are asking for opinions on AI they never pretend to be impartial and always make a point of how cool AI can be Anyway, tell them to fuck off with it - www.pmc.gov.au/domestic-pol...

Facebook post from the Australian Government. It reads:
"AI is creating new opportunities for Australia.

Australia is well placed to seize these opportunities, with a highly skilled workforce, world-class research capability and a strong track record of attracting investment in digital infrastructure.

The Australian Government wants to build on these strengths and ensure Australia is an attractive destination for investment in the infrastructure needed to support the next generation of AI.

But the infrastructure needed to support AI can impact our energy, water and local communities.

That's why we're seeking feedback on how Australia can build on our AI investment capabilities while managing the impacts responsibly.

Your experience and expertise matter. Have your say and help shape the future of AI training and infrastructure in Australia."

Ok that's done. In the hands of someone even remotely decent it could have been a fun bash-em-yp. Johnson isn't bad as the lead and they idea is fun But boy o boy, that was a fucking fumble. I went in with Venom level expectations and got Morbius instead

I decided to finally watch Kraven and shite it is slow. Like it could have so easily been some bgrade action fun but for some reason the director decided that 1 hour of babbling is what was needed. The only good bit so far is Rusty overacting the fuck out of that accent
