I've been sitting on a new video of all the months of progress I've made on my game. Why am I so hesitant to post it? Especially when so many chill people were supportive of what I've already shown. Part of it is I want to include a steam or itch.io link so people can actually play it.

Once you have the spot logic you can use that same formula like a brush, replacing the circle with whatever shape you like. Stripes would require anchoring/direction in addition to thickness and length, its trickier but good progression up from spots.

I've been assuming they're procedurally generated with a set of parameters like how long or short a segment can be. So imagine spots would be just randomly applied circles of different sizes that also get fed parameters for how big/small, frequency, and color or choose color based on primary color.

Yo it does all that while creating a sense of urgency, that big fly bot keeps creeping closer, and a sense of how the world may be altered by your actions by making its death drop the bridge which is a mechanic for revealing hidden areas later on. The fall also teaches the wall jump.

I agree with the second point at its core - the way his messaging sweeps up racial inequality into class inequality rhetorically lessens the genuine impact of racial inequality. He needed to make a stronger or clearer case about how addressing one addresses the other.

I'm not a vn player, but in dialog character art i like when the current speaker's static sprite bounces, squashes, and stretches as a visual form of verbal inflection (more excited means faster and chaotic bouncing/stretching, etc) - it communicates who is speaking and how they are speaking.
