u are so crazy for this (extremely positive)

hess @ suffering @hesste.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

sometimes you just gotta try something to see if you prefer it (or some parts of it) 🙂‍↕️ its a Process to rly nail down how u wanna do things... i mostly know what i want to minimize (taxes/fees lol, admin/basically anything not drawing itself) and experiment from that standpoint

hess @ suffering @hesste.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

i havent used it but it seems like a good way to centralize everything if thats what youre struggling with wrt the process 🤔 i will say the public reviews part of it would stress me out.. idk if you can turn that off fjfjfd i cant be faced w my customer service getting a grade

hess @ suffering @hesste.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

yes, its gonna look something like that! i just have to figure out how to receive & store peoples ideas/oc info in a low effort yet organized way 🧐 AF pages would be nice, but not everyone is on there...

i want to avoid a structure where i owe many folks a piece of art every month! the part where ppl pay me money for smthn specific, on a specific schedule, makes me actually incapable of experimenting 🚶 the surprise part of AF was great for my drawing brain!

hess @ suffering @hesste.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

i liked surpise drawing for folks so much during artfight im going to somehow someway create a system via patreon tier so i can keep doing it (:< its like crowdfunded comms for folks who might not otherwise be able to afford it too... and rent money for me 🚶

Yess haha I was thinking of you mentioning it before… it’s v nice to take some tasks out of the gms hands!! like session recaps or idk.. spritework if u have an artist on board 🤔 extend the collaboration aspect further

hess @ suffering @hesste.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

genuinely I need a dedicated Scheduling Player in tabletop groups I gm for 🧍 I love the gming but I’m bad at the corralling/admin………. it’s admin adjacent… ig I should bring it up bc it does make sense to spread the workload among the group much more than what seems conventional (=gm does everything)

im also looking for someone who has experience drawing birds to potentially do the accompanying spot illustrations (a la the fish i did for Fathoms!)

for the still-in-the-planning harpy art anthology just like w fathoms id like to bring on someone to co-jury with me and someone to do layout/formatting 🧐 i always feel shy asking folks to volunteer (as these are non-profit projects) but I MUST!!!! a like or a comment will let me know u r willing...

prices have shot up massively over the past few years for cons in europe too... organizers realizing they can squeeze more income from the artists bc theres so much demand for the tables 🚶

this is the most significant price hike I’ve had to do in a long long time, though even without that factor I‘m Full Of Doubt every single time I offer commissions… I’m hugely relieved to be proven wrong u have no idea

ok turns out my patrons are the fastest decision-makers in the world (ngl i am so relieved) but there’s still ONE solo slot available for someone who wants an August commission via my Patreon: patreon.com/hesste
