I trying to be more constructive with myself than I used to. But I still have a lot of moments where I wish that my mind, and my social build, worked differently. I always feel like people need to be patient with me, and I wish I could get that feeling out of my head.

I'm having to be the glue in the family and this is really challenging me. My oldest brother is really worrying me. I have no idea how to de-escalate some of the conversations that he starts, but I'm really trying my best to be my best with that. It's just causing so many issues.

I wish sometimes my brain was just normal. There are days where I really don't find a lot to like about myself, how I am, and feel such a deep yearning to be different, but it's impossible. The path to being the best version of yourself and finding things to love about that soul is real tough.

It doesn't feel long since I last spent time with Dad. He showed me his new car, and we sat in it while he told me all about the new features he liked. I miss him. It doesn't feel like a year. I've wanted to talk to him so many times since. I wish he'd had more time. I hope he's at peace.

I don't think anyone forgets their first car. I had this one for 17 years. It gave me all I could ask. I fixed it mostly myself, had it through many changes in my life, and it did its best. I am going to miss it. It's such a silly thing, but I loved that car. Goodbye, old friend. Thank you.

Having some small insight into Naval things, I don't think Australia has any place posturing with nuclear submarines. Of all the countries that run them, we would be the smallest in population by a factor of 2, with the smallest GDP and the largest coastline. They will be a nightmare to operate.
