An explanation on why Big Walk isn't available on Xbox. bigwalk.game/xbox

Regarding Xbox

In June 2026 we announced that the release of Big Walk would be limited to computers, Switch 2 and PS5. Since then, we have received many messages and comments, asking about a future Xbox release. We would like to address those questions here:

We have made the decision not to release Big Walk on Xbox, in accordance with the Palestinian-led BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions) movement’s call to boycott Microsoft, and their designation of Microsoft Games (and Xbox) as a priority boycott target. If you need help understanding our motives, we would recommend reading about why Microsoft is a BDS priority target, the successes this kind of pressure has already had on Microsoft, and especially, watching this great introductory piece by People Make Games.

It has always been our intention for Big Walk to be played by groups of friends, and we know that keeping the game off Xbox runs counter to those intentions. This decision means that some people will miss out on playing Big Walk with their friends, and we understand the disappointment we’re causing. We are disappointed too.

We would love for people to be able to play the game on Xbox, but not until Microsoft and/or Xbox have been removed as BDS boycott targets.

We’ve made this decision with the belief that meaningful change can be made in the world, that coordinated collective action can confront even the most powerful interests, and that one day, Palestine will be free.

Thank you for your understanding.

Sincerely,
House House

I really should read 1984. read a lil bit of it. and there was this section where the protagonist sat infront of the projector for their hate hour or something. He sees something in some O'brian character. He thinks he might be different. maybe he's not full of hate. that's what it's like rn

If I say something it might be drama irl irl which would be exhausting. but if I say nothing I will have to live with this for years which will be exhausting. thinking about quitting all of it but idk. no matter what way I go, it's a mess

I'd feel like I'm spitting in the faces of the ppl I love the most. do these ppl hate the women in their lives? do they have a mother? a daughter? a sister? a niece? a cousin even? like holy shit.

been irl for a bit and honestly it's been exhausting. met some truly *not so cool* ppl. ppl I will have to meet every day for years now, probably. ppl who talk about how the busses are too dark. ppl who talk in such ways about women that if I spoke that way,

... Tracebacks show that during those times, packets get lost not only at the jump between copenhagen? and nyc? but also after. why am I not getting a somewhat constant loss all the time? why only sometimes? Do I blame US infrastructure? Idk maybe I'm reading it wrong but... it makes me :(

Can some #networking or #programming person explain the internet to me? most of the time my packets reach US servers just fine. but like randomly like every 5-20 mins for short periods of time there is a big packet loss in the connection, I think. ... (1/2)

Getting constantly timed out during short periods of time randomly and there aren't any other devices on the network. I'm worried that it's an ISP thing cuz they did get sold to a bigger shittier ISP a while ago :( Might be enshittifcation but idk yet hopefully it's a me issue :)

Something is trying to stop me from playing minecraft. Who- or whatever you are, HEED MY WORDS ! I WILL NOT STOP I WILL NOT SLOW DOWN I WILL FIND YOU anyhow.. I now have nethogs installed and am pinging the outside world. I think it's either an ISP issue or some program doing stuff.

Hey drivers: I need you to understand that when you get to an intersection and there's a cyclist crossing in front of you, even if YOU know you see them, there's a good chance THEY don't know you do. Come to a fucking stop till they cross. Stop fucking rolling at them. Fucksake.

You know Art is the most important thing for humanity when the automation process goes specifically after it. Even solving the world's hunger and curing cancer is not as important right now as producing Art at the large scale.

Dinevenator robustus, from Late Cretaceous New Mexico #pixelart #ドット絵 #SciArt #1bit #paleoart

1 bit pixel art of two Dinevenator robustus in a forest of Late Cretaceous New Mexico, with tall trees and leafy plants around them. Both the feathered, bipedal, Troodontid dinosaurs with long feathered tails are looking into a small hole in the ground, possibly a small animal's burrow they are hunting.
