Ok since I'm back I'll probably start looking into a new speedgame/category very soon Just need to decide on one, which may just be a random roulette spin TBH

I landed in Barcelona and after another hour by cat I'm done with this endless trip back home It's time to see just how fucked I get by jet lag

Survived an 11 hours flight but Discord is blocked in Turkey so I can't read whatever bullshit the group chats got going on during all that time Only 8 hours away from home!

I went around Shibuya, Ginza and Akihabara getting pending presents and somehow fitting everything into my bag And now I've been in the airport waiting for many hours and have many more to go, time for the worst part of any trip: going back home

Today's activity was a visit to Yokohama, and an excuse to participate in a HoloDori stamp rally over the general port area It rained all day long which kinda sucked, but it was still damn fun Then we met with a friend who's another ESA attendee and went to a karaoke for 3hiura, it was damn fun

SHIBUYA DAY WOOOOOOOOO I met with H@NK from the Astral Chain community and went on a TWEWY pilgrimage to satisfy the deepest hole in my soul, then we ate great Shabu Shabu and I unfortunately couldn't find many things I wanted in shops, but Tower Records came in clutch at the end

Herrete @herreteman.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Today I went to the Edo-Tokyo Museum in the morning, it was crazy big and the full scale and model reproductions were damn great And in the afternoon we visited Tokyo Tower and its surroundings But tomorrow... tomorrow is Shibuya day and I'm gonna go crazy with TWEWY pilgrimage sites for SURE

Herrete @herreteman.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

Today was the much dreaded Akihabara day, I fiended for every VTuber related merch and my niche interests for other series and I still left a lot of stuff unfound (may need to do another quick visit on the 30th before leaving)

Herrete @herreteman.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

First proper day in Tokyo! Lots and lots of walking, we visited Tokyo Skytree, Sensoji, the national museum in Ueno park, and finally Tokyo Station so I could accidentally give more money to Cover Corp Tomorrow is gonna be a real spending day methinks, it's time to visit Akihabara proper

Today was Sendai day, I walked and was promptly destroyed by the hill up to Zuihoden, Date Masamune's and his descendants' mausoleum After that, to get ready for my train, I explored the Parco in Sendai station, I was constantly screaming but I managed to only buy one thing, my boy Accelgor

Herrete @herreteman.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Today was Sapporo day, I walked around the city and it's parks desperately looking for non-konbini breakfast (I failed) It was a short one because I had a train to catch, and 6 hours later I'm in Sendai to sleep and explore it before the final leg of the trip, Tokyo

Got nihongo jouzu'd today, we're SO in

Herrete @herreteman.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Today's destination was the hot spring town of Noboribetsu! I walked all around the mountain paths of the Jigokudai (free f**t pic included) and built up fatigue Then I headed to the onsen inside Daiichi Takimoto, no photos obviously, but holy shit that was the life, so much variety and good views

Crazy that the year I can watch and """enjoy""" Gigi's September 21st special is the year I least should be doing it I think I'll remember this

000

Herrete @herreteman.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Pretty crazy that the one week I'm away from home and not watching streams all day a guy I watched and generally liked does a whole 3 day US Army sponsored stream and I only learn about it when everything has already blown over lmao Good riddance

000

Herrete @herreteman.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

Yesterday was Hakodate day, it was unapologetically a Golden Kamuy pilgrimage so I went a bit overboard lmao I climbed Mount Hakodate early in the morning under some rain, went back down on the ropeway, and walked all the way to Goryokaku (but the tower was too crowded to consider going up lmao

Kinda having another day of the horrors just trying to make my way towards Hokkaido today Some time ago this stuff would've put me in a strong enough depression but I'm happy I can just roll with it now and keep enjoying the good parts of the trip, the difficulties are just adding to the adventure

021

Herrete @herreteman.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

Went to Nara this morning and had a blast with the deer, but then I experimented the horrors of not knowing it was Diet Golden Week so I guess I return to Osaka for now and plan ahead in any way I can

030

Herrete @herreteman.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Went to Kaiyukan Aquarium in Osaka today, fish are pretty fucking sweet and whale sharks even more so And then in the afternoon I met up with the GOAT Ratyu-san for a great tour around Namba and some bomb shoyu ramen that he beat me to finishing by like 10 whole minutes lmaooo
