Fellwaters done. These got minimal effort, zenithal prime > contrast > dry brush > picked out face and weapon detail, so I’m a bit annoyed that they turned out so well. I spent three times as long on Droggs and I don’t think he looks three times as good! #warhammercommunity #aos

They look amazing! The instructions said to paint the wolves before assembly but then I couldn’t work out how I’d paint the shaft and yoke. I saw some videos of people painting without subassembly and it looked fiddly but do-able. Choices were made!

😂😂😂 Even without the rebuild, I think a lot of the old sculpts look a bit like that. All of the plastic linesmen from 90s are just stood around with their hands on their hips looking mildly perturbed!

You could probably add magnets as you build it. One magnet behind the face and one mounted in the back of the mask. It’d be fiddly! They sit quite snuggly without magnets so I’m tempted to not glue them and see how well they stay on during play/transport.

I didn’t make much progress over the weekend, but the Gobbapalooza are base coated and Mangler got a spray tan. Aiming to get some common highlights in this evening (skin, metals, wood, eyes, teeth, bone, robes) then finish them off 1 at a time.
