I've been scanning old family slides the past few days. Here's one of my dad, George A. Sofer, at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco in 1989(?). He would have been 99 today. A lifelong Republican, he would be absolutely furious at the current state of affairs.

Here’s mine Alfie: Hozugawa gorge in Arashiyama that I took last year. It’s a rare image that works well in such a narrow format, and has open space at the top.

I recently got our turntable fixed, and have been dragging boxes of albums out of the closet, most have not been opened since 1987. This British copy of Revolver was brought back from London by my parents in 1967!

“The Mac has come!” Found this set of stickers in my closet. These are from when the Mac first went on sale in Japan, 1985 or 86. Canon was their original distributor. I’ve always been fond of this Mac Dude, kawaii! :-)
