😩🏆🍀 I can't comment on experiences post-surgery (no experience) But shutting down / just wanting to eat and sleep a lot is def a thing bodies do when recovering from trauma.. Exhaustion encourages sleep, and stops you moving about too much - risk of straining, re-injuring a partially healed body.

When you hold stress in for so long, release can perversely be exhausting. You finally let it go, and your body crashes.. Been thru that. It's definitely a thing that happens after long periods of sustained stress - the adrenaline is gone and the debt must now be paid. Best wishes for Tuesday 💚

Ooo baby trills! She might grow up to be very chatty.. (do love a chatty cat) We have one that doesn't meow at all, she only trills and sings like a bird. Normal-looking tabby. (But same feral colony, so who knows..)

I have treat Dairy Binges, and live with the consequences 😂 This was well worth it 👍 but I grossly under-estimated how many whole mushrooms would be needed. (A box and a half went in the pan, and shrank right down) Parents loved it, I preferred it cold after getting back from dog walk..

Mum has been feeding this cat for over a year - she's gone from "flitting shadow who shows up after dark", to stalking people at a safe distance if they have food. Recently she started watching *me* through the window (while waiting for mum). My aquarium full of cats. So I started feeding her too.

#FungiFriday Fantastic #fungi growing out of a dead beech tree. They twist up the trunk in a line, with beautiful wavy gills like feathers. Some kind of Oyster #mushroom (Veiled Oyster Pleurotus dryinus?) but they are so dried out and crinkly it's hard to tell. #nature #textures #PhotoOfTheDay
