As a Norwegian and a republican, I have to say this headline is incredibly misleading and tasteless. While I object to monarchy, it was difficult to object to King Harald, an extraordinarily warm and inclusive monarch who chose love (his Sonja, a commoner) over tradition (marrying another royal).

One significant proof of how "the liberal world order" has benefitted the US is the Mad King presidencies. Despite Trump's self-inflicted wounds, the "order" propped the US up, covered for it, adjusted for it, for fear of the order ending. With Greenland, however, that ended.
