If you just look up Chinese ghost towns, you'll find a ton of old articles about how empty they were. It's interesting that they just suddenly became what they were initially meant to be after lying dormant for a while. Now they're almost all thriving

It's actually a really weird situation. A lot of these types of cities were built just prior 10s & they went largely unused for a good amount of time. There would be maybe 10,000 residents in a city built for over a million. Then they suddenly became populated. It's an interesting rabbit hole

I'm thinking it's probably a regional thing, then. It has to be. I have looked at all the gas stations I have gone by since I saw this and not one has this. I will also forever be grateful that I am allowed to pump my own gas. Wasn't a fan of waiting in NJ for gas.

For reasons I am not allowed to talk about, I've been aware of this for a long time. One major problem it has is that it often doesn't listen. It also has a political slant to it. It will glean info from you that, for some reason, YOU cannot put in yourself. Or even edit, sometimes. It's bad.
