Up next is the Savage Aether by @henryneilsen.bsky.social, which will be my first sci-fi book this year (though still an Indie one, of course😇). It was recently released along with a companion anthology, The Disconnected, both of which were quite successfully Kickstarted, if you want to check it out

Another story teaser from THE DISCONNECTED by @liviajelliot.com THE BLUE DOOR depicts a tender and desperate story paved over with the violence and cruelty of memory loss and pressgang servitude. The story unfolds like a memory ever-fading.

An excerpt from Mise En Abime, by @lauren.taylor.bak for THE DISCONNECTED. Kickstarter link in bio. Lauren's story left me shocked with its raw depiction of sex work in an eternally connected world. This story is incredibly powerful in its depiction of the edge of exploitation and consent.

Constantly fascinated by the way AI and it's proponents consistently get things wrong, but still claim their ignorance is better than other's expertise because they used AI to get there. A write-up about a weird paper I found about carbon use by AI models. open.substack.com/pub/henrynei...
