The Liberals 2022 election review found in the top 15 seats by Chinese ancestry, the 2PP swing against them was 6.6% compared with 3.7% in other seats. In response to Hume’s comments, one WeChat user said: “How could the Liberals say things like this? Everyone should put the Liberals last.”

As the federal government declines to restrict betting ads, the AFL is seeking a bigger share of gambling losses. Not all bookmakers are impressed. Reminder: The AFL gets a percentage of money lost on its games. The cut is higher for multi-bets, which have a higher fail rate.
