RIP Dick Cheney, you would have finally found something to like about the Trump presidency (illegally overthrowing a government for oil)

I finally got good at one breakdancing move and all of a sudden, upon YouTube video roulette the other ones suddenly seem so much easier - it's incredible what getting a good foundation can do for you.

Hot take - we should have honored Marco Polo to appease Italian Americans instead of Christopher Columbus. The first guy was just a trader, spread knowledge and vibes, and the locals actually liked him and made him an emissary. His only problem was he inspired the second guy 😭

the pacing in Demon Slayer isn't perfect, but I'm really a fan of Zenitsu's character development, especially in the Entertainment district arc. He goes from being a complete coward to standing up to Daki when she abuses a servant - knowing she's a high level demon

I wrote something for GQ about how Armani impacted menswear. It's easy to forget, but when menswear transitioned to slimmer silhouettes in the early 2000s, baggy clothes were derided as "sloppy" and "middle aged." Over the years, people have revisited campaigns like these 🧵

A man in a dark voluminous suit with peak lapels and pleats.

A man in a big double-breasted overcoat.

A man in a big mid-gray single-breasted suit wit notch lapels and a scarf.

I feel so validated having consumed hours of content of tattoo artists complaining about highly specific trends and tropes and none of them describe any of my (only 3) tattoos. I'm generally anti-gatekeeping but I'm definitely a tattoo snob at least for myself lol

I only did pizza for nine years, but after that (relatively) short time I got so used to the feel of dough that I could judge temperatures within two degrees by hand, nail weights without a scale, and get a full pie from phone to oven in twenty seconds. All labor is skilled labor.

Sometimes I read Zionist comments and it's the closest glimpse I can get to the attitudes of Japanese soldiers & Nazis that committed war crimes decades ago... Like they are truly a soulless bunch. Indoctrination in this year where we literally have Internet and video evidence? I'm not having it

Learning about Einstein's life after watching Oppenheimer - it feels pretty good that the first person that comes to mind when we think of "genius" was also a pacifist & immigrant refugee that took the fascist threat very seriously.

whenever I hear people complain about the Gen Z stare, I have to wonder how they feel about neurodivergent people... Also, as long as people aren't openly rude or mocking you why do you whether the person handing you your coffee is bubbly and friendly or not as long as they do their job

Watching tattoo recovery videos and heard a professional say the session is the hardest part - I definitely have a high pain tolerance because the recovery (dealing with the itchiness) is much more troublesome and annoying than the pain in any of my three 1-6 hour tattoo sessions lol.
