Ken Henke @henkeimagery.com · 24/09/2026"Cloudy, with a Chance of Autumn" Washington’s North Cascades puts on their fall colors while the evergreens stand tall and the clouds photobomb the peaks. 01089
Ken Henke @henkeimagery.com · 19/09/2026Soft golden light, snow-dusted peaks, wood smoke, and the gentle waters of Lake Wenatchee capture the essence of autumn in the high country. #landscapephotography #autumn 1212
Ken Henke @henkeimagery.com · 14/09/2026Ruby Glow - Taken several years ago, this late afternoon scene took my breath away! When I first arrived at this location, the clouds were the typical late afternoon puffy type. Within minutes this formation developed. Unforgettable. Ken Henke @henkeimagery.com · 30/08/2026I really enjoy the perspective of a drone shot above a colorful forest. From this perspective, individual trees disappear into a wonderful patchwork of gold, orange and red. This image was taken several years ago near Crested Butte, Colorado which has some mighty impressive fall color. 050
Ken Henke @henkeimagery.com · 25/08/2026I loved the way the breaking wave curved through the foreground and seemed to lead directly toward this little tree-covered island. There's a wonderful contrast here—the water is constantly moving, while the island and its stubborn collection of trees simply carry on. Salt Crk Recreational Area, WA 000
Ken Henke @henkeimagery.com · 24/08/2026Learning to anticipate the tides is becoming another part of coastal photography for me. It's not just about finding the right place or light. It's also about being there when the ocean decides to put everything in the right place. Yea, not exactly spontaneous photography, but it can be rewarding. 1112
Ken Henke @henkeimagery.com · 11/08/2026"Threads of Spring" - Death Valley doesn't exactly have a reputation for being lush. But give the desert the right amount of winter rain, and life finds every opportunity it can. For a few brief weeks this past spring, the desert became something entirely different. #LandscapePhotography 1172
Ken Henke @henkeimagery.com · 03/08/2026"Blushing Volcano" - I was impressed at the recovery of the Mount St. Helens area that was devastated 46 years ago. Even with a dramatically changed landscape, area has slowly and beautifully been rebuilding itself ever since. Nature just doing its thing! #landscapephotography 0170
Ken Henke @henkeimagery.com · 09/07/2026Thousands of leaves. Hundreds of branches. For this series of images, rather than isolating a single tree, they explore how trunks, branches, and foliage weave together into living patterns. Cheers! #landscapephotography #forests #woodlands 080
Ken Henke @henkeimagery.com · 02/07/2026"Painted by Dawn" - Death Valley National Park can obviously be very harsh in many aspects, but if one gets up early, the soft color palette of the amazing geology is on full display. Cheers! #desertlandscape, #desertphotography, #landscapephotography 01118
Ken Henke @henkeimagery.com · 25/06/2026Divided, Yet One - Hidden within the forests of Olympic National Park, Soc Duc Falls splits into three graceful cascades, its glacier-fed waters carving a timeless path through moss and stone. Ken Henke @henkeimagery.com · 12/06/2026Ahh, the small world we often take for granted. This photograph was taken in Death Valley, where salt crystals have formed a landscape of their own in Badwater Basin. Given that, the name of this image is....Salt Clouds. 000

Ken Henke @henkeimagery.com · 26/05/2026Fifty Shades of Green - The Pacific Northwest really has no concept of moderation. A little moss? No. A little green? Also no. Instead, it creates places like this — where waterfalls tumble through ancient forest debris, every surface wears a coat of moss, and the air is so fresh! Cheers! 2182
Ken Henke @henkeimagery.com · 22/05/2026"Petals in the Shadows" Spring in Washington has a way of quietly transforming the forest, and few plants announce the season better than rhododendrons—the official state flower. Scattered beneath towering evergreens, their vivid magenta blooms in dark forests are hard to miss. Cheers! 011

Ken Henke @henkeimagery.com · 31/03/2026Sand. Fun when I was a kid… still fun now. Big dunes turn into a playground for photography—endless lines, shifting light, and more compositions than you know what to do with. And somehow, against all odds, I made it back to camp with very little sand in my shorts. Winning. Best to ya! 020

Ken Henke @henkeimagery.com · 21/03/2026Hi Ronald! Thanks for your kind words! I appreciate you taking a moment of your time to express your opinion of my work. That kind of feedback is genuinely valued! And yes, although color is my preferred workspace, more and more, I value the tonal qualities of black & white images. Cheers! 100

Ken Henke @henkeimagery.com · 12/02/2026"Reaching Out" Badland scenes are captivating even though they are just large piles rock and dirt.
